I was thinking about buying it, but I don't know if I should. If you have it, why do you like it? and do you think I should buy it?

Buy it lol i love the game it does not save properly for me though but i would get it great buy i like it bc u can ride the rides and make familys.

It's now pretty cheap (in price), and it's an awesome game. Buy it! When you are riding the rides it feels like you are in a real amusement park!

Also I love creating my own family because you can put what they like and then you can follow them around it's fun seeing what YOU do lol

Is it similar to RCT2? I already have that, but it is getting a bit old and not that easy to customize. Can you do more with RCT3?

and this one they have an expansine (sorry for the spelling) that lets you create water slides (the building of the rides help you in vmk)

Well, 1 and 2 were 2-D, but RCT3 is 3-D. It makes it a lot more fun.

buy it the game it is 3D a big update you can ride the rides make goals of your own as other poeple above said buy it! also there is two great expansions Wild! and Splashed! i have them both and if you could get one expansion i would say Splashed! is better because the is swimming pools

I personally like soaked at this very moment, it helped get me ideas, but I liked the wild normal type roller coasters, because it feels more of an amusement park. During the summer I do the soaked RCT, in the other seasons, I do the regular wild RCT :)

Soaked is way better than Wild. Except Wild has really cool coasters @_@.

hmm make sure you have a good computer first, if you dont it wil cause a HUGE amount of lag. another problem is the amount of bugs in the game. i suggest you take a good look at ur computers stats ( run dxdiag and save all the info ) before buying it.

I would say, the best computers for this type of game, from my own experience, are 2000 and Windows XP. They can hold much storage and such. May I suggest not doing this on a laptop. I am on a laptop at the moment, and I tried to play it a few days ago, my entire laptop crashed. Use it on a regular computer, just a suggestion :)

I tried a trial once on my laptop and it worked fine. My desktop is much faster than it, so I think it should be able to run it fine.

^^ lol yeah it really will not run very well on a laptop. also make sure you have a good graphic card ( preferably one with 256mb memory and a pci-express port would also help run the game faster ) and updated drivers

Those are pretty Sweet! I have been working on a park too and added some rides like that in. Today i made a Turbo Bike Coaster and it is Awesome. If you buy this game you have to make a family it is so cool to watch them walk around. This game took a leap from RCT1 and RCT2. This game is the best Simulation for Amuesment Parks until RCT4

^ their wont be an rct4. Frontier has obviously givin up, they fixed maybe two bugs. then they went to lucas arts to make "thrillville" rct4 wont happen, although their is a comunity project called coastermadness being made wich is based off of rct but will be much better :) ( sorry if that counted as advertising )

In RCT3 Gold you can make familys, go in Sandbox and make parks with UNLIMITED money,5 themes of scenery, and theres a LOT more coaster choices, anda lot more!

I personally like the 2d enviroment in RCT1 + 2 better than the 3D enviroment in RCT3. Soaked does sound like fun though.

RCT3... Get Zoo tycoon two before you get RCT3, I have both and dont really like my RCT3 game, but Zoo tycoon is SO much fun!

Anyway you could post a review after playing it a couple of days? Just want to know what it's like.

It's a fun game! You can actually ride the rides and make fireworks shows. You can even create your own people and have unlimited money and every ride, etc. in sandbox mode!

You can actually ride your roller coasters in RCT3.

Exactly Thrillville looks amazing with the secenery and stuff but you are going to lose out on many RCT things. Your bets bet is to stick to RCT 3.

Horray You bought it. The learning curve is not too bad you will get use to it. Have fun with RCT3
