I was looking at another VMK site (Just browsing! I promise!) And I found this thread posted by someone.

I just got a message today in response to my registration for the ride competition. Here are the exact words:

Thank you for your interest in the Pool Party Room Competition. As
stated in the Newsletter, registration is limited to the first 200 teams.

We have now reached our capacity for this event and must decline your
team's registration.

We hope you will join us in VMK Friday August 4 thru Sunday August 6
to check out the hundreds of rides.

As of now, I'm really ticked off. My team didn't make it. All of my hard work in putting my team together, has gone to waste. Next time, I hope staff will have no limits to ride competition entries.

If you guys were wondering when I registered, it was the morning of July 14.

Pool Party Room? How odd...

The 14th is honestly late to enter a team for the competition (considering you could do that as early as the 10th). I'm not surprised that person's team was rejected. I'm sure other teams who entered earlier got that same message. Good luck to all of those who will be competing!!!

I wonder why she would get a reply that was sent in on the 14th saying that she did not make it, when I sent mine in on the first day they were accepting applications, and still have not gotten any kind of reply.

If you sent yours in before the OP did, then don't just count yourself out already. If you sent your ride application after the OP, then you can assume you won't be getting in.

Well I feel bad cause our team life guard leader is away for judging leaving us in charge. But sorry for all of you who did not make it

Yet another team that Registered Early Monday got the same "the ride competition is full" message.

and yet..people that entered on Weds. still made it..

I envision riots on vmk if this keeps up.

I'm getting kind of nervous. I sent in an application on the first day,no response and I sent a second one on 12th. No reply yet. I don't want my team members to waste all their credits on their room.

We registered first thing Monday morning and have not heard anything. I thought those that got in received a message so I still don't know if we are in or out.
