Ok im not sure about the rest of you but here are my veiws on disney channel(sorry if this is in wrong catigory)

I think disney channel is becoming more and more closer to playhouse disney. They Now have a lot of cartoon like shows on disney channel. I think those should be on toon disney. If you want cartoons, flick a few channels to toon disney. Meanwhile, I think disney channel should be more like it used to be about 4 or 5 years ago. Back when shows that entertained teens and pre-teens alike, such as So Weird, Bug Juice, Smart guy, Boy meets world, Sister sister, The Jersey(peronal favorite), Even stevens and shows like that. Currently there still are some shows that relate to both teens and pre-teens like The Suite life of Zack and Cody, Thats so Raven, Naturally Sadie, Life with Derik, and Hannah Montana. But the Suite life is already on it's second Season and can only have 65 episodes(unless it becomes an exception) and That's So Raven is also going to end soon and it will just be repeats. Then what is really left besides cartoons?

In Resent top hits on disney channel, Thats so Raven was first followed by the Suite life. Showing that most people who watch disney channel like shows that deal with real issues real people have and they have humor in them. not many people want to watch a show about bug issues or a kid who turns into a dragon(sorry if some of you people do im just stating my side of this) I just wish they would bring back older shows or make the ones that are aimed more for teens and pre-teens on more often. Like Natually Sadie when do you ever see that on? meanwhile the Emperor's New School is on all the time.

I agree totally. I was pretty mad that they brought in American Dragon:Jake Long, Brandy and Mr.Whiskers, and now that they're bringing in Shorty Mc.Short Shorts. I'm sad that they removed the great movies like Brink, Halloween town, and many more.

I agree too. Although they still sort of play those movies but like recently they played the movie Miracle in Lane 2 which i havent seen in like a year and yet they play HSM all the time.

I totally agree. I wish they would bring back Vault Disney. American Dragon Jake Long should only be showed on Toon Disney, I like the original shows alot better. The Suit Life is Ok, the twins on there try to act way to cute and sometimes Maddie is just annoying. I think Phil of the Future could have been a bigger hit if they got someone else to play the character Pim.That's So Raven is going Down Hill since they canceled it (correct me if im wrong, i think they only have a few episodes left). Basicaly Disney Channel's only big hits now are Hannah Montana and The Suite Life. I think they can do a little better then that if they put more work into there other shows.

Yeah! i remember when i sat down on my bed watching boy meets world on DC. now i always skip DC when i watch T.V.. Now all cartoons are now having no point..dissapointing...

I agree that Disneychannel is have to much cartoons also. This sounds kind of like a rant. But anyways, the shows such as The Suite Life, That So Raven, and Hannah Montanna, a lot of teens and pre-teens can relate.

I agree also i always go to the disney channel see a cartoon is on or hannah montana (hate that lol) then i sigh and flip back to sports lol.

number 2 is true number 1 is also but boy meets world is on at what like 3 am? im not staying up that late to watch a 30 minute show. So maybe if disney could compormise? like have SOME cartoons but less then they have now

i think there shouldnt be any carttons too. they have some cartoons that are ( dare i say ) stupid. im sorry but i think they should have more shows with realy people cause u can actually realate in someways. leave the cartoons for a later time instead of older shows and some of the cartoons are on while we are in school.. so that is ok

In the past year, Disney Channel has significantly cut-back on the air-time cartoons receive on Disney Channel...

I just checked the line-up for Disney Channel 7/17-7/18 (2 P.M.-5 A.M.) and it only includes 2 hours of cartoon programming...

I personally don't think 2 out of 15 hours is too much cartoon programming...

Yea i think they should like take out play-house disney from disney channel and like move it to toon disney...

But I don't have toon Disney, I like American Dragon, bc it has a story. I resent B & Mr. W, i think the emperors new school is ok, and i sort of liked Dave the Barbarian, but They really need more live action shows that are good...

cue5c i feel almost the same way. american dragon is alright i like the story and the new ones are suspensful with jake and rose. But right after what ever movie is showing at 8, there are like 3 episodes of american dragon and emperors. so just put them on less.there are like 3 new shows going to come on in 2007 so maybe it will even all the shows out.

It really bugs me actually.. I mean, what happened to show likes 'So Wierd' (my All-time favorite!) and others.. I mean, even 'Boy Meets World'? All of these new things like 'Shorty Mc.Short Shorts'? I don't like them at all.. They just get anoying..

I totally agree with you. Cartoons... Not really my thing actually. Disney channel cartoons are almost as bad as Cartoon Network. I think Boy Meets World and Sister Sister are on late at night because thats when most pre-teens and teens watch TV, not during the middle of the day. And Boy Meets World is on ABC practically 24/7, when Gilmore Girls and 7th Heaven have finished up showing for the day.

No thats not nice! Playhouse Disney is for kids! Not every little kid has Toon Disney think about it.. its just not fair! I personally think Little Einsteins and Mickey mouse clubhouse is adorable and i watch it, make fun of me? I dont care! My cousin watches that, playhouse Dinsey is something else, were talking about Disney Channel were theres Short Mc Short shorts and all not Playhouse Disney. And i hate that new show! Grr.. What is Disney doing i dont mean all cartoons! Im just saying lately these cartoons arent even "Disney" they look more Nickelodean then anything! I liked hmm the one with Chip and Dale they did adventures! I loved that one! :D

I agree because:
I really dont like the cartoons that they have such as: Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, American Dragon: Jake Long, shorty mc short shorts, and Emperor's new school. I really liked the jersey and ESPECIALLY bug juice. Those are the shows that I really miss :'(

But, however, this is why I dissagree:

Boy Meets World and Sister Sister are still on, however, at night. And I do belive that sister sister comes on every now and then during the day. Also Boy Meets World is also on everyday on ABC family at, Im pretty sure this time, 1:00pm (central time) and there are two episodes back to back. But sadly the jersey is not playing anymore.

But, thats just my oppinion
