What is with all these RPG things? There are so many of them! I personaly think that they are dumb. What does rpg mean anyway? It all started with one person making up this stuff then it caught on. Now there are so many things that say weird titles and say rpg.

They are everywhere! All I see is RPG! I don't really care about them and stuff, but there is alot!

Also, do you mean in VMK or VMKF or the type of Video Game? The VMKF one is just a little fun story thing, that everyone adds a little to it. The VMK one is just some little kids wanting to act like Jedi or Kitties. And the video game type is actually fun. I like Role Playing Video games. :D

Also, about the it all started with someone making up this stuff thing, so did VMK. And Disney. Walt Disney just made up stories and stuff. Its called imagination, and I think people who make or play RPGs have lots of it.

i actually dont see whats wrong with rpg's. i go on a lot of different mmorpg's (massivly multiplayer online role playing games... yes, its a mouthful.), and none them them are actually dumb. the forum ones are pretty cool, its just a couple of ppl having a grand time pretending to save the world from stuff and whatnot. but hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and im just saying mine.

I also think they are annoying. All I want to do is try to get in a successfull trade here and there, but my thread will get bumped to the bottom in just a matter of minutes, because 10 RPG's are taking place.

I think there should be an option to hide/show RPG threads.

I don't like them either. I wish if we weren't in the group we wouldn't be able to see the topic on the latest posts list. :(

This is why there is a special group for RPGs. Some people really like them, while others think they are tacky and dumb. If you don't like them, don't join the group and you can't see them. If you do see one and you do not belong to the group, then tell a mod so it can be moved to the correct forum. Chances are, a mod has already found the problem and working to solve it.

If you ask me, I joined the group so I could see the posts. Some are tacky, while others are kind of fun. While you may think they are dumb, others think they are really awesome.

Anyone getting annoyed by RPG's?
Not to be mean but this isnt even a VMK fan site now. Every time I click on new posts the first five threads are all RPG's. There so annoying now. They were ok at first when there was only two but now everyone is making them and there not even VMK or Disney realted(half of them).

The ones that are dark, Not to name any names, but like werewolves, vampires, anything with death are definatly not Disney and are so annoying because they are popular but the Disney ones aren't. I am so MAD! but you are right.

yes i agree but the ones me and my friends play on like borading school,camp wondershine,ocean heights and valleywood are not dark they are fun!

know that they need to be in rants exactly, but it would be nice if you had to subscribe to them. I come to this site to find out information about VMK, ie: new items, trades, happenings...... and I don't like that this is most of the board. I am not against them, I just do not enjoy them and wish they had a place of their own. I agree, lets move the RPG's to a new home.

I agree with ShadowScamp everyone has an opinion and people should respect that. So maybe you don't like it, but others do. You just have to respect that. Although I do agree that there are a little too many of the RPGs maybe the Mods can limit how many RPGs are being active to help solve the problem of having too many RPGs.

I agree with Daykota. Not be rude to anyone who disagrees with me but it's just a simple opinion. I just think RPG's could maybe be in a different section of the forums so they dont clash with eachother. If there was another section then the people who make the RPG's have a better chance of people reading their story. Also people who like to read RPG's can all click it and then all of the RPG's are there.

Come on there is nothing wrong with them. Obviously you ppl are a right brainer. Which means that you arent into Arts and what not, your more into Logical Things.
The people who do RPG's are Left Brainers, which means that they are more Articulate then others, and like to draw write sing and what not. So dont dis RPG's.

Hey guys, I was the person that introduced RPGs to this forum. I do not appreciate you guys bashing them. What you are basically saying is that it isn't okay to express your imagination and to tell great stories. Walt Disney was a storyteller, and the RPG forum is to tell stories with friends, plus you make new friends. As the result of the 3 VMK Cafe's, I've met some great new friends, including CaptainZeke, BestJurassicPark, Makior, and several others.

Now, I do agree that the sheer amount of RPGs are getting out of hand. I think that each user should have a limit on how many RPGs they can have running at one time, because Nick has to pay for all of these threads. Also, I agree some of the RPGs in that forum do not belong here. Please see RikuBlade's thread in the Site Feedback on how to fix these problems.
