Ok so i don't have picture proof, but in the latest yavn interview, he had said we already have tron, you win it in the <Tron> movie. which might meaning a card.. anyhow. i just might go to the store today :D but before i go, could anyone confirm that a card is in the box?

This saddens me lol. Tron is an early movie about this super computer that becomes hostile and tron and his partner try to stop it.

In the movie, the good guys wear blue and the bad guys wear red. Both costumes have been previewed in VMK, but until this thread appeared today there has been no indication of when (or if) they will be released to the VMK public. And this thread seems a little suspect to me, as I haven't heard anything about a new rerelease of the Tron DVD. The 20th anniversary edition is excellent. I'm hoping I won't have to buy the movie again just to get the costumes.

I still think that maybe it's a game to do with the movie Tron. Hence win it in the movie, where you are part of the movie and have to do stuff. I don't know just a wild guess.

I'm hoping for a Tomorrowland expansion which includes Tron mini-games. And, of course, Light Cycle Magic!

Well, these two are uber-famous franchises well known with little kids (and that happen to both sell food). However, Square Enix is a Video Game company mostly known with Teenage Nerds who think that swords are cooler than guns and just want to see Sephiroth beat up Pooh Bear. A Cross-promotion is obliviously wasted here. Also, Tetsuya Nomura (The director of KH) is one of those people who obviously take their games as a form of art, sort of like an interactive movie. If he really meant to advertise Disney in his game, he would have put at least one pixar movie in at least one of the games.It may not be Pixar, but he did include the Disney movie Tron in the game.

That seems a little offensive because i think swords are cooler than guns and im not a nerd.. steriotyping is a nasty way to judge someone.

That wasn't meant to be an offensive stereotype. I'm one of the said nerds I mentioned in my post (Although guns that make explosions are indefinately cooler than most swords), and I just think of myself and the rest of my kind as such. It's an important ability, to be able to poke fun at yourself.


Anywho, back on topic:
I just don't see Square Enix as sellouts just because their most popular franchise involves Disney. I mean, I'm pretty sure Square wasn't intentionally promoting Disney, Nomura just wanted to do a disney game involving swords completely owning guns. I don't think Disney came up to them and went: "Hey, want to make a game about Mickey Mouse?" Although they probably do it to other companies... I don't see why they'd come to Square, and I don't think the end result is something Disney thought up. It's just all too... Japaneesey, if you know what I mean.

I got the Tron DVD years ago, long before VMK existed. There was no code inside. :)

yes the anniversery was in 2002 and vmk opened in 2005 i dont think it will be in those boxes unless code nomes went an put cards in all the unsold boxes ;) lol
