I also believe that the week of Halloween, they will release all of the costumes they have been teasing us with: the other pirate costumes, blue and pink hero suits, brown mansion suit, khaki explorer costume, brown and grey cowboy shirts, and tron costume...or some of them at least ;)

Well Halloween is fun but they probably dont do too much for Christmas because some people don't celebrate Christmas. Like me! :)

I would love to have Haunted Mansion costume done in the style that the park cast members wear. I can't remember them too vividly, but I think they were dark green and black Victorian-styled costumes. That would rock!

But I am both a Halloween AND a Haunted Mansion fanatic, so I'm sure I will love whatever they do!

You guys have some great ideas! Mad Hatter hat would be awesome as would "turn into pumpkin" magic (great tie-in w/ Cinderella, too!). I wonder if the developers read this board? We could save them so much time coming up with brilliant new ideas! All they need to do is make them happen!

I have started loading up on credits.
I am really cutting back on buying stuff.
I am not buying a lot of extra pins to trade.
It just does not make since, hardly anyone ever wants the "weekend Special" pins.

I hope to have enough credits to buy several of each halloween costumes again this year.

I would like to see SOME , but not all costume come back, I traded my last Cowboy hat to get the Sparrow Costume.

About 1500 credits, as usual or more?Usually 500 credits per piece, so it would depend on how many pieces (hat, top, bottom, and shoes). Some costumes don't have hats, and some don't have shoes. The Everest costume didn't have pants!

Hi all! :) Well, someone in this trade room I was in said: VMK might have Red and Gray (not just the top, overall costume I suppose) Cowboy costumes for Halloween!
And I have seen UNRELEASED costumes over the internet that I think may be released this year. Some of which I saw includes: Khaki Explorer Costume; Red and Gray Cowboy suit; Pirate costumes (separate ones for boys and girls); Brown Haunted Mansion suit; Teal Superhero Costume; Davy Jones Costume; Tron Costume (separate ones for boys and girls).
Sorry if I got anyone to excited there. I hope this may give you an idea on what's coming on VMK! Check the Emporium Specials everyday, VMK might put some items up for sale without warning. Have a great VMK day! :)

Wow, that brown Haunted Mansion costume is ugly! It just looks like a plain ol' brown suit, I don't see anything about it that makes me think "Haunted Mansion".
I think they should make a dark green one and/or a dark purple one. The more like the Cast Members, the better. I would so love a Haunted Mansion maid's costume. But I think I already said that! :)

I think that legally, they're not allowed to do that, with different religions and all.

I think it will go something like this:

October

Early October~ Halloween furniture comes out. Most likely upgraded versions of the old Halloween stuff. Dark Ride pieces will also come out, and a new ride competition will be underway. A ride-a-thon will also start out the new dark ride pieces festivities. We will be teased with new rooms from new lands, like what happened with Tomorrowland and Frontierland. Most likely the land will be Toontown, or the secong page Tomorrowland. Also, new decorations will go up around Main Street and the Esplanade.

Middle October~ Newsletter comes out explaining details about upcoming items and when the ride competition will take place. A schedule will be released about when the new costumes will be coming out, much like last year's newsletter. The costumes appearing will be like those that appeared in the past, only different color variations will be available. Also, new events like the costume judging event will take place.

Week Before Halloween~ The costumes are staring to be released. Everyone gets prepared for the ride competition and the new events. Ride competition is set for November 5-6.

Halloween~ The big day. Players will meet in specified rooms (preferrebly those which seem scary), and meet for the costume judging event. The final new costumes will appear. A new Halloween celebration pin will come out. Final touches on the ride competition event.

October's Pin Series: Either a rerelease of the Haunted Mansion Pins, or a Hunated Mansion series II Pins (There are 999 Haunts, I am sure they can find new ghost for the pins)

I would be looking forward to some new costumes. I've been wearing Halloween stuff ever since it was released last year, and I doubt I'll change any time soon without good reason. I wouldn't know what they would release this year, but I am pretty certain about one thing: they will not rerelease last year's costumes. There is a chance they might bring a few back in different colors, but the original versions will be kept original.

well now it says it on the vmk news letter they have the dates of all the costumes for halloween and the first couple come out on october the 2nd there are yellow dresses, cowboy vest's and a bunch more, there are also 2 new hair styles coming out for the girls and one for the boys :)
