Firefox with the User Agent set to Netscape 4.8...

So, let's start from the basics:
Firefox version: 1.0.6
User Agent Switcher version: 0.6.6
Shockwave version: 10.1.0.11

Start Firefox,
Click Tools, User Agent Switcher, select: Netscape 4.8

In Firefox: www.vmk.com, enter game.

I guess what it is, is you use this firefox extension, that make the system thing firefox is a different browser! The netscape on worked perfectly and I can finally play VMK again! WOOT!!!

Yes, I got it from the mozilla site, but he made it sound like most would already have it, LOL

Until then it's (cough hack hack) IE (cough cough). But ONLY for VMK, nothing else lol.

Isn't there a similar fix for this with an Internet Explorer user agent? I don't want to get Netscape.Within the User Agent Switcher Tool you can choose between Netscape 4.8, Internet Explorer 6 or Opera 8.

It worked fine for me. I chose the Netscape 4.8 agent and I was able to log on with my Firefox 1.0.6 browser. Yea! Great find!!!

Today I get this pop up when using firefox disguised as Netscape


Now what????? Will not work as Disguised IE

I got that same popup. I just closed it and logged right in. No problems.

Ok .. I loggeg on once this morning successfully with Firefox. Now I can not. I think they caught up with this one quick. Guess it is back to lame VMK via IE.

I don't have any problems logging in with firefox if I use the user agent switcher and change it to netscape. The problem I'm having now is that it doesn't load the dictionary and I can't talk, send messages to my friends or even read what other players are saying. Is anyone else that is using firefox having the same problem?

it's just not working for me at all
