I put an explore suit case down so the front half was on the exit. I sat down and then exited. It is possible to place part of a piece of furniture on an exit so that when people sit on that spot they exit.

I also put down a treasure chest so that one half was on the exit and then sat on the land part. I slid over to the exit part on the exit and left.
