As many ppl know, there is a new pirate game in which you can win your very own pirate ship, but some players are having trouble playing the game,and would rather not trade a lot of VMK items for it. To help these ppl out i have decided to make this thread to post tips hints for this new game.

Here are a few of mine:

- Run Away! Run Away! :as soon an item required for a level, make a run for it! Enemy ships can not reach the potential speed of your boat, which is a great advantage, and it is not required to destroy an enemy ship.

- Which way to go?.. : Another way to prepare for a level is to look at the compass before hand. Choose a set route for which item to go to first, second, third, forth, so you want have to hesitate when enemies are closing in.

- The Kraken is mean! : The Kraken is'nt mean. He's just misunderstood, I mean hey he is a computer program. Here's a tip to get rid of him when you need to. The Kraken takes seven cannonballs maximum to temporarily stop him. Fire 6 shots at him when going to another idol, but keep him on screen or he will leave too early. After getting to the next idol fire the final 7th shot at him. He will momentarily go under water again, which will give you a chance to turn around to face the next idol and get on your way.

- What's with the laser eyed idols? : You may have noticed that the idols (before they have been activated) shoot fire out of their eyes when a certain distance from them. It is not easy to avoid the kraken and fire balls at the same time if you know what i mean. Just try to stay in constant motion with your ship, and don't go in just a stright line. Try making lots of frequent turns when near idols.

I've found a simple way of finishing level three everytime. I make a counter-clockwise circle starting with the bottom right idol. Let Kraken come up and chase me and fire 2 shots along the way. Then, when I'm close to the idol, I fire 4 more shots to sink him. By doing this I have plenty of time to get the idol, turn and get moving forward again. Also, there is no need in wondering where he'll pop up next, because most of the time he's right behind you ;)

It still usually takes me a couple of tries to get through the game, though. Maybe I'll try it counter-clockwise like you suggest.
