That being said, anyone that thinks the Princess Dresses look like Belle's, Aurora's, or Cindy's should check again. While the basic color may be right with some debatable parts (mainly the second skirt that lines the bonnace), the general design looks nothing like their dresses.

As far as the super hero outfit goes, i have heard from a reliable source that that costume will be a code in the new skyhigh dvd. And only a few were given the costumes as animation beta (to make sure the costume's movements corrisponded to your charictars) don't quote me on that though.

Also, if you point over to the official list of everything in VMK, it says that there will be a "Baby Doll" costume so, we better wait for that ;)

Baby Doll is a type of shirt. Look it up on any clothing site.

As for the VMK Code in Sky High? Thankfully, there is none. If there was, we would have seen the merchendise and heard about it on the main site a week or so in advance similar to how they made us aware of Herbie stuff coming with the DVD.

Alright I'm sorry that i gave false info, its just the person who told me this also knew about the charictar and game voting in vmk and hat month a month before i heard it from everyone else or saw any threads about it. i assumed he was right about this also. I am sorry for the inconvienence.

Well, if what I'm hearing is correct, you won't get a Stitch hat unless you stay on resort somewhere. Chances are we won't see many of those on VMK until this coming summer. Any before then, well, are just people that lucked out and probably won't trade it away for anything less than a 5-star Inferno.

Well, in there defence, they are testing what kind of ways would best suit VMK as far as promotional items go. So far, the only big success they had was through Park Quests. However, after the recent survey, it looks like they are trying other angles since not a lot of people liked the idea of going to the parks to get some of the best items in the game.

I recommend sending them some feedback via their contact us link on the main VMK site.

It's been added to the list the new feature of Unreleased/Released/Retired/Limited costumes.
These mean the following:

Released: The items marked as released were available at some point in the past, or are still available. To determine if the item was available in the past, but is no longer available, view Retired.
Retired: Items marked as retired are those who have been available at some point in the past, but are no longer available in any possible way other than by trading.
Limited: Stuff that is known to have been available, or is still available, but is only available for a select group of players, is labeled as Limited.
Unreleased:Stuff that has been tested publicly by the so called "testers" (VMK Staff that specializes on testing costumes, items, pins, posters, ect.) but hasn't been released either in the past or in the present is labeled as Unreleased.I hope this new method helps to organize this thread a bit better and the "Do you have all those costumes?" PMs end :)

Has anyone actually done this? I just booked a trip to WDW for August, and they knew nothing of it.

You still can't get them, however i do not see much point in them giving them exclusivley to resort bookers, It may be a puchase card like gold ears! You never know!

Not only that, but you have to stay on property from what I remember being told. That "stay on property" part may have changed, since it was months since I was told that.

You have to book a trip to WDW or DLR, on property, I think. But that's just what I heard.

My guess is that the pirate costumes will be available during a special "Pirate Month" event to tie in with the re-opening of the newly remodeled Pirates of the Caribbean rides at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom as well as the release of Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest to theaters.

If I had to guess, I'd say Pirate Month would be in June but it could be as late as July.

Don't know if this was reported yet or not, but the Stitch Hat is out. I found someone with a VIP, Made in Park, and CL badge with the Stitch Hat on. She said she got it for staying on property.

The purple costume will be availible in the event that is starting later today... an hour and a half away. I think it is like a maze thingy... but who knows.. :). You will get it piece by piece, one each day.

Ntoice how some say Item before it, then a number, which means actually sold in-game, but some say Product, then a number, which probably means when you buy something irl. Tron and different color Space Suits must probably be purchased.

The different colored space suits that appear on the items list are not actual costumes, I repeat, they are not costumes, but indeed, they are the effects of the different magic pins that have been or are to be released, the items list lists them over there so that the VMK Client can obtain the information from there to transfer it to the game. The only Space Suit costume that can be worn is the traditional orange/yellow one.

According to a host, if they find necessary the presence of certain items on their rooms, they will ask for them, and the amount, and the staffers dedicated to the coding part of the game will introduce their requests on their inventory. On the other hand, QA_ staff members are on VMK to find the flaws on everything; from items, to new lands, to games, everything. So the QA_ staff gets immediate access to unreleased stuff or anything they need to test immediately, so that they can later either fix it or report the flaws in the object tested. And if you want to name it that way, yes they are "richer" than VMK_ staffers, since they get the stuff in a faster way, but indeed, they don't really care who has more or less stuff, they're on VMK to work.

No, I'm not a QA_, and when they answer that it makes sense. They get it for working for VMK, as I previously stated, released or not, if VMK wants to expose certain object, and a staff member requires it either for testing or desinging purposes, most likely he/she will get it, as it not only helps getting people excited on how to get it and maybe advertising the game, but it as well helps to make the room in which is put into more thrilling. So yes, indeed, if they are allowed to expose certain object, they can get it for the fact of being a staff member, which is completely reasonable, as any company, Disney trusts its employees.

I only know how one of these certain persons have aquired(sp?) it. Baby got it from the Character Ceation window back in those Beta Days, it was a bug in the program. That's all I know of.

the baseball shirts are the HKDL shirts and are a bug but there are reall baseball shirts coming out. and earlier today when you made an account you could choose from 2 new costumes: one was swamp person looking, a jack sparrow looking costume (was different than regular pirate costume!) and also a hair feature to be bald. but VMk closed earlier and fixed the bugs and took the new costumes away from all who had them. they are not supposed to be out or seen, but Staff have said this: "They will be out soon enough"

i hope this month or next (but better chance of next month)

Many of you are asking why do girls get more costumes then boys.

It's because women were and will always be the dominant species of human life ever since the beginning of time. They need and have more things then the male species.

They have to worry about more stuff then boys, but I'm not going to get into that.

Also many of Disney's movies, have starred Girls and The Princess Collection has been really popular with girls.

I Think it's fair that girls get most of the costumes cause they have to worry about looking pretty, and Girls love to shop. Basically they cannot live without make up or Fashion.

Also Disney Is most popular with girls because Of the Fairy Tale Videos, And Chick Flicks And Girl Movies That Disney Releases. Girls are mostly what keeps Disney And it's profits alive.

The simple answer of why girls get most costumes is because of these two words: Advertising And Commercialism.

Okay I have been on the road this past weekend so I was not able to get the red baseball costume. But I have seen a few people offering PURPLE baseball costumes for trade! Anyone know how to get one? I am fine with not getting red, but purple is my favorite color :)
