The First Story

You are walking around VMK like any old day. You stumble on a path you've never seen before. "Wonder where this leads.." you ask yourself and go down the path.

You find yourself looking at a world of different lands. Like everest, adventure lands, tiki islands, Treasure rooms, and other great worlds. They are all connected in a way.

You get into deep thought and think 'I can make this into a ride! With the help of at least 11 other people. The project can be called Splash Away'

You start running back to VMK central to find Volunteers and run into a Push the trashcan! OUCH! Push tells you all about the Slide-a-thon. You are so exited! You know where to build your ride and have the right ideals! Now all to do is find a team.

You find a girl who is called Raderin but likes to be called rad. She asks you "Do you want to be on my team? It's called Team Splash Away." You are so exited you can't speak. "Well..?

So are you in?

Team Splash Away has transformed their name into 'Team Scare Away' for the next Halloween Ride competion. Rockstrkid is the new lifeguard too give Rad and Mickey a break! We do not want too be the victom off any other mean prank. Choose your theme -unless you room is spooky enough ;)-

Team Splash? I never heard of it. I did not copy it.. I came up with the name myself.. and I don't think anyone will really mix up with us. If they do I will consider taking my name and making a nickname S.A. but I really don't think that is really needed..

Waterslide Competition

The Build Your Own Waterslide competition is coming to VMK! This will be a team-based room competition where Players form a Pool Patrol and build their own versions of a giant water slide.

Each team is to have one Lifeguard as the team leader whose role is to coordinate the team and register the team for the competition.

Here are the rules:
- Each Pool Patrol is to consist of no less than 6 and no more than 20 members.
- The ride may not exceed 30 rooms in length.
- Players may only be on one Pool Patrol team.
- Each member of the Pool Patrol must contribute at least one room to the ride.
- The Lifeguard must be the owner of the Shallow End room, where the team's ride begins.
- Waterslides will be judged on color, creativity, and overall ride experience.

You must choose a name for your Pool Patrol. Choose carefully, it must be allowable in VMK and must fit into the room name, preceded by Shallow End (example: Shallow End Dumbo). No "dictionary dances" are permitted in any Pool Patrol room names (example: Shallow End Dumbo To is not allowed).

Registration will be open Monday July 10 through Sunday July 16. Only the first 200 Teams that have properly registered will be accepted. The Lifeguard will provide the names of all Pool Patrol members as well as the names of all rooms in the Pool Patrol's slide. Late entries will not be accepted.

Once a team's registration has been submitted no changes may be made to team name or team membership. Only registered teams will be judged.

Judging will take place between the following times:
Friday August 4, 2:30 - 8:30pm (Pacific)
Saturday August 5, 8:30am - 7:30pm (Pacific)
Sunday August 6, 8:30am - 7:30pm (Pacific)

Please try to keep your ride open during the event so that others can enjoy what you and your team have created.

How about around wee have a day every weak for like a team get-together, where we can talk about the ride, check on each others progress, and help each other get credits by playing the minigames (i would suggest haunted mansion because its free and you still a decent amount of credits if you lose).

I know there was a team meeting Sunday at 5:00pm EST, but I was not able to find the room meeting because there were tons of Pirate Cannons and Everest rooms. I tried many many rooms and everyone I spoke too said that I did not have the right room.
I would like to get together with everyone to at least get your VMK names on my list of friends.
Raderin Please set up another meeting and name the room Team Splash Away. I am hoping that everyone will be able to join. Anytime is good with me just let us know.

Thank you ace.. Everybody! I sent in the Registration.. I have only one worry that I spelled a name wrong -sigh- or I put in somebody's VMKF nmae instead of their VMK name! Oh well here is what happened last night and this is why I could not make it for the meeting..

I went out to see Pirates 2 but it was sold out so I saw click (I really suggest any under 13 does not see it..) It ended at 5:30 and we hoped in our car but this huge accident happened so we were in traffic until 6:50 or so.. sorry

I would really love to come on team splash away because, I have many rare furniture that has got me usally to the top of trade rooms or party rooms, I have great ideas and I collect 2,000 credits a day from haunted mansion I have mostly all the rooms except HSM room, HM room, PP room. Not to bad I also of course have mostly 2 of each buyable rooms. Please think about it.

We have not gotten a definte no yet.. We are probably in we registered on the first day.. and so had many others.. Ok I know I haven't been active about this team thing at all, It's just because I haven't been able to get on VMK for the past week, (finally got it to work today 0_o) and I didn't know I was doing a room. I thought that the tiki room was already taken, but I guess not! ^_^

I should be able to put a room together, but I'm going to need some up and down slide pieces, if anyone has any to spare I'm in my room, search up "gabii." I'm going to try to trade to get some, but I'd appreciate the help! ( I was gone during the Splash event, I have 3 down pieces total...>_<) I'll buy the other types of slide parts, just need the ups and downs..

I also need to become friends with the other members of the team, and get a teleporter to link to my room with the rest of the slides!

I'm buying slide pieces now and If all goes well I should be able to finish my slide by the end of the day, maybe by the end of tomorrow?

I can give you some ride peices. Tell me where to meet you. BUT you have to return the pieces after the contest

I have a tip for you.. Try too click on the fireworks at the last possible minute
