You all know about the new improvements of the Pirates game right? Well, I came up with some tips to help you out with the game. It surely helped me out.:)
Selecting your ship
When you play Capture the Flag, I recommend to use the Black Pearl. In Capture the Flag, speed is important (Don't forgot some Defense also!) . You need the speed to grab the flag ,and bring it back to the base. The Black Pearl is the fastest of all ships.
When you play Ship Battle, use can use either the Flying Dutchman or Wicked Winch, but I highly recommend to use the Dutchman. In the Ship Battles, you need a good amount of ammo so you can attack or defend yourself. These two ships have a good amount of ammo to do that.
Playing the Games
When you play Capture the Flag, the object of the game is to grab the flag from the enemy's base, and bring it back to your base. When you play this game, have at least 1 person defend the base. If you have more than 2 people on your team, have 1 person defend the base, 1 person holding off the enemy ships, and 1 person to get the flag.
When you play Ship Battle, don't shoot all the ammo all at once. Make sure to aim at a closeby or far away enemy ship, then fire. I also recommend to use the left and right keyboard arrows. You have a lesser chance of moving your ship accidently when shooting.
The wicked witch (wench, winch, witch, all the same thing! so confusing) is definitley the hard hitter on that team. With five cannon balls shot at once, that means that anybody that recieves those hits is a 1-hit KO. It also is a very complex built ship, with all the twists on it, making it very hard to hit. Also with five shots, that makes it harder to avoid.
