There is a hidden treasure.... hidden.... deep within the Virtual Magic Kingdom.

The clues to get to it are all around us... simple oddities that we think nothing of...

Many say that VMK and VMK Forums are not connected in any way... they are wrong... VMK connected with them when the treasure was created... certain things were put on the fan site... for the sake of the treasure...

Certain members... were told certain things...

Now... are you ready for the most epic adventure of your online life?

Treasure Hunters!

A huge epic treasure hunt game in VMK and VMK Forums is about to begin! Hosted by myself, players will search the kingdom and the fan site for the clues, so all of the puzzle pieces fit together... so then they can find the treasure, which consists of rare VMK Prizes! The game is based off of NBC's new show "Treasure Hunters". NOTE: All connections with certain players, fan site/VMK, etc. are FICTION and are not to be confused as actual happenings.

There are will be six teams of 3, creating a total of 18 players. These teams will elect a Team Captain, who will communicate with me via the PM System. Players will compete for the treasure in 5 scheduled hunts. At the end of each section of the hunt, a team will be eliminated. In the fifth and final hunt, the last two teams will race for the treasure, but only one of them will earn it for themselves!

The game involves code-breaking, problem-solving, advanced-thinking, and some complex riddles. You need to know some VMK History as well as a bit of VMKF history. To sign up, please post, but once you sign up, YOU ARE COMMITED. The last game I hosted had players dropping out midgame, so please only join if you are really into this and plan to play the entire game. Once we have 18 players, I will organize you into the 6 teams of 3, and then each team will elect their Team Leader. Following preparations, the first part of the hunt will begin, and will be carried out via the PM System. For people just wanting to watch the game and see what happens, I will do my best to post updates after each section of the hunt.

The only thing that could be hard is the whole "meeting up" in VMK thing. Is it all-for-one or one-for-all? In other words, does the whole team get a prize, or is it just one person?

The team leaders carry out for the entire game unless the Team Leader turns over his/her position to someone else, or the other two team members "impeach" the leader, meaning, they feel that the leader isn't doing enough and they're basically firing him/her. Any change of leader status must be reported to me via PM or posting here. Good question.

And that's a very good question as well Florida. You will be meeting up in VMK to carry out the hunt. It's not all for one, but rather one for all. If your team wins, you each get a cut of the loot. My reccomendation is to connect via Buddy list and get on each other's VMK friends list. Organization is vital for this game.

NOTE: For you lazy folk out there, you will NOT recieve any reward if either you missed WAY too many parts, or if you were lazy and just didn't help much. Your team and I will be the judge of that.

Skippyskippy, when you give more riddles, could you please make them a little more specific? I mean, don't give out the answer, but give enough information that lets people distinguish between rooms. Like, that one question about secret number 65, that could have been a lot of rooms. I think a lot of other people had trouble with this too, because all the Autopia Tracks had speed limit signs that read "65" on them.

Anywho, I don't feel like participating anymore today. I'm having some... Troubles on VMK, and don't feel like going back on.

Eek, eek, eek. Where to begin. There were several flaws in the system that I had not anticipated, not just in VMK/VMKF, but in my own computer.

1. Flood Control. I could only send a PM every minute.
2. Minimal PM Storage. I had to continue to empty.
3. Sending PMs. I had all of the clues written out in a Word document, in addition to Flood Control, it took me a minute to find the user that needed to be sent to and then actually send it.
4. VMK Slow. VMK was very slow today for some reason. At least I could get on (many couldn't), but it was as slow as molasses.
5. Lunch. This came up very suddenly and without warning. It caused a delay.
6. Connectivity. Unfortunately you must not have listened when I said connect with your teammates. (Well, a few of you did. I thank those who did.) It's near impossible to do this unless you are on VMK Friends list and/or buddy's on VMKF.
7. Server Too Busy. We encountered this on VMKF and it caused a slight delay.
8. Crash. My computer entirely crashed; I had a lot of programs open and was trying to continue. I eventually just crashed.
9. Difficulty. Yes, this was difficult. It was supposed to be. I applaud Captain Zeke, cavowonder, PinkPokaDot, RedJenny, and Jaekizzle in particular for their excellent teamwork in solving the clues. There were also some things in rooms (such as the 65 sign in Autopia) that I had not forseen. Thank you for enlightening me on those, Florida.

So, as you can clearly see, there were LOTS of problems. But I suppose that's to be expected. This has never been done before. So, I'm going to do my best to fix these problems.

But our team was having difficulty because -name removed- was fighing us because he was getting mad. He kept saying he was leaving for good, then 'jk'. About 5 times. We and Tom are friends in VMK, we had not much difficulty at all. Also, we never got the Clue after the Star Traders one until much later then the others. Everyone kept telling me we are way past that, but not until later I got the clue from you. :)

We're going to begin at the "average" clue that we left off on. Meaning, people were who were slightly ahead will go back a bit, and people who were slightly behind will move up a bit. We'll just start from there.

Our First Clue Stated:

The secret lies with 65…

This clue was very ambiguous, it could have lead to many places, but the place we needed was the Inner Space Shop.

The next clue said:

Now, journey to the Inner Space Shop. Inside you will find Star Trader. Click his register.

When you do this, Inner Space Shop will not come up… it will bring up another shop, and then quickly switch to Inner Space. This is thought to be a bug, but the developers had a secret meaning for this…

Visit the shop that came up first. There is one regular furniture item that appears somewhere else. But where?

After going to the shop and clicking Star Trader, you very quickly see Small World Imports and then it switches to Inner Space Shop. This should lead you to the Public Room Small World Imports. After going there, you will see many items in the room. The item we were looking for is Lumiere. Of course! Lumiere can also be found in Nautilus Grotto.

The next clue had us finding a connection...

Continue to the Nautilus Grotto. There is Lumiere! But next to him is a portrait. The next link to the treasure was linked from VMK to VMK Forums. Find the connection here.

The connection has to do with the picture and VMK Forums. The picture is of a pirate. And there is no where else on the forums than the Home Button at the top of the page.

Okay. Some teams got ahead of the "Home Button" clue. This whole section of the race was supposed to end on Sunday. Instead, he is splitting Part 1 into 2 Parts. The teams that got ahead of the average clue still start at the average clue, but know the answers to the clues after it because they either finished or got ahead of that clue.

LOL ok..i got the two parts :), but what are you considering the "average clue" like what im trying to say is exactly what you just said.. how would they even Know the clues AFTER the "average" clue if this is where he stopped, with the home button. you mean to tell me that other teams actually figured out what skippy's next clue was going to be?? i can see having thoughts of what is to come of the next thing, but how would they know answers to a question that hasn't been asked? unless of course you are leaving something out..

He meant to finish the part of the race on Sunday, but couldn't. He had all of part 1 ready, so he used all of the questions. Some teams are farther in, some teams are more behind. In other words, he didn't stop at the home button and he gave some teams more clues than others because they solved clues faster than other teams.

Wow! I thought this was a game, not advanced psycology. LOL

We'll meet in my Underwater Animation Academy tomorrow at 6:30 PM EST if all goes well.

I don't think so. Right now, SuperJaekizzle and I are on the last clue, but we can't figure it out. Maybe Skippy should call together another meeting, that way everyone is refreshed and ready to continue.

Did anyone get the "Shadow" clue yet?

Happy 4th of July, everyone! Here's some help for you who are stuck:

Gligar/TrinityWhitch: Pretty much everything is dark in the Forbidden Temple... but light forms a "shadow" that is shaped like a certain animal next to the large skull. Look carefully!

Jk/Cave: Try PMing one of the older Mods. The Keyholder hardly gets on anymore, but here's a hint... it's a HE and he's a MOD.
