Now that we can see each other's friend lists I thought it would be nice if everyone could see the basics :)
The first thing in friend lists is knowing what each thing means.
Friend List: The friend list is a list of buddies that shows you when the people on your list are online. VMKF is a huge community and it can sometimes be very tricky to find someone you are looking for. When you have a someone on your friend list on it will show they are on either on the home page:

or in the who's online area( I have underlined my buddies in red so you can see the plus signs) :

Ignore List: An ignore list is used if you don't like someone's post. By clicking the ignore button (see below) you can choose to ignore someone so that you can not see their posts.
How To Add/ Ignore Someone
Adding a buddy:
Find Someone you want to add. Let's say you wanted to add me as a friend. You would go to my profile and click the add to buddy list button on the top bar ( I have circled this area in red)

2. After you click the circled area you will be taken to another screen where you will click submit.

3.After that you will be taken back to that user's profile. For ignoring a post do the same thing but click the ignore this person button in step one.
Veiwing Friends Lists.
1. To view someone's friends list go to their profile and click view (soandso's) friends list

or when viewing a post you can click the small link by their name:

2. Once you click that you will be taken to a screen with their friends list. I will now explain what each area means:
Buddy List: This Area shows all the users that this particular user has added as buddies:

Is Linked To: This area shows all the people that have add this particular user to their buddy list ( I had to cut mine off, I apologize to those who linked me that are not shown):

Mutual Friends: Mutual Friends are people who have you on their buddy list and you also have them on your's:
