I know this is probably in the wrong place but I coudn't find a better spot. I was wondering since were having pirate month, will pirate quest return? Or is it a done deal? I'm so confused... if you have any info or comments to this thread than please post :)

The "Pirate Quest" is supposed to come back to Magic Kingdom and Disneyland parks as a cross-promotion for both VMK and the GRAND re-opening of the "new" Pirates of the Caribbean attraction...

There are also supposed to be NEW quest prizes!!!

Look for it PROBABLY in July...

This is a whole new quest i wouldn't trade it away just yet.. if you look at the cards section on the VMK site you can see that all pirate quest items are RETIRED hence i wouldn't trade your pirate quest just yet until you know what the new prizes are for the quest.

I mostly want the pirate costume but I don't want to keep my pirate quest if I know it will be a prize... alot of ppl are going to WDW/DLR for the summer.

I'm going to WDW in July hopefully. I'll keep you on the info

i think it will come out again. bc the green stuff came back on green day, don't you think the pirate stuff would come back in pirate month?

Im 100% sure that they are going to have a new quest, not the same prizes but they are going to have a new pirate quest. Its going to come out sometime in July, i know this because when i went to WDW and i went to Guest Relations i was asking something to the person there about VMK when she was talking to someone on the phone and i over heard her saying it was gonna be July 14 or something like that. Now for that part im not sure if it was July 14 but thats what i thought i heard her say. Anyways, there will be a quest. And i also heard her say something about a new adventureland quest which i think will come out in June or Semptember =]

i called vmk because we are planning a trip back to disneyland for this quest - yes they are having one - but she didn't know exactly when it would be out - she said disneyland is opening their poc attraction the 26th of june but wdw is not opening theirs until 7th of july - same as the movie - so she couldn't tell me exactly when it is going to be ready

Oh cool! So pirate quest wel return :D :D

I called WDW and spoke to the Cast Member that does the VMK cards. HE said that there is a new quest coming out. They didn't have the cards yesterday he said to keep watching the web site for the download.

He said they are probably going to have it with the ride opening but with the HSM the cards arrived late so anything can happen.

Also the Pirates Ride at WDW is opening early for the 4th of July crowds. It was finished ahead of schedule.

A friend is going to try the new ride in two days and there is the grand opening tonight, but the entry is pretty expensive. It's been posted in another thread, that a person who talked to a cast member, found out the Quest is returning for sure and one of the prizes is the Jack Sparrow outfit ;)

I sure hope the quest opens soon. I'll be in WDW when the pirate ride reopens and movie comes out so I hope thats when the quest also comes out
