I just went into a room and there was this girl with TWO Buried in Treasure magic pins!!!! WE all know that is impossible because the pins aren't tradeable...are they??!?!

Really?? I think they were never tradeable. However, there was the "great code fiasco" they probably had a code mix up and accidentally got two. I think a handful had that happen to them.

when the promotion was first started they were tradeable. i suspect that then mule accounts were made to get multiple pins and that is when they were made untradable.

Yes all of the Kelloggs Magic pins were tradeable at one time, that is how I was able to get my 5 star pirate magic. She just has the two pins and has not combined them.

When the magic pins first came out with the Kelloggs promtion. There was a bug that you got two Buried in Treasure Magic pins, instead of Cursed Storm. I have this bug, but I combined mine and I have a two star buried in treasure magic now. They weren't tradeable, it's just a bug. The only pin that was tradeable would be the Pirate Magic Pin.

From what I've read in other threads, the Pirate magic was available in beta days and I've seen people wearing two & three of the costume magic, both with the Day 1 badge. Weren't those three magic pins & Inferno the first magic available on VMK??

They were never tradeable, i know exactly how she got them. in beta when Kelloggs magic came out, Cursed Storm codes gave you a buried in treasure pin instead of Cursed Storm most people who are from beta dont have cursed storm pins

I don't remember exactly but... I believe Fireworks and Invisibility were always availible through the games like now, so they were first. Then the kelloggs, then inferno through event (this might be the other way around). Pirates was the only Kelloggs tradeable, making it possible to have a five star of it.

I have Two, Five Star Pirate Magic Pins. Back when they were tradeable I wanted them all. I gave tons of stuff for them. Now I have one of the longest Pirate Magic in VMK and when it ends I can just start it over. ;P
