Push's Adventures in VMK
This week Push has ome piratey fun in Adventureland.....
Dudes! You'll never guess what happened! Just the other day I got my highest score while playing Jungle Cruise Photo Safari! My new high score is.. 500! I rock! I roll! I am the Trash Patrol! Okay, dudes, now I know what you're thinking: 500 is a pretty low score. But dudes, when you have no hands, it's really hard to take pictures and steer a boat at the same time. LOL
Anyway, that wasn't the most exciting thing to happen to me that day. I was celebrating my totally awesome Jungle Cruise victory and rolling through Adventureland when I heard the familiar song of "Yoho, yoho a pirate's life for me..." Of course I thought of visiting my good friend Captain Blackheart! I just had to tell him about my totally cool Jungle Cruising.
Right as I was rolling up to the Treehouse, a passing pirate dropped this funny looking piece of paper on the ground. Being a trashcan I don't like to see trash on the ground. Dude, if everyone threw trash on the ground, I'd be out of a job! Just as I was trying to figure out a way to pick up the paper, Captain Blackheart came around the corner. I was like, "Dude! Could you pick that up for me?"
As he crumpled up the paper to throw it away, Captain Blackheart stopped and looked really long and hard at the paper. He looked at it for so long that I said, "What is so cool about that paper?" Then he showed me what he was staring at. And guess what? It was the coolest pirate treasure map I had ever seen!
Blackheart and I followed all the clues and did everything the map told us to do and we found the treasure and it was so awesome that we decided to share it with all of our VMK friends! This weekend, June 23rd through June 25th, you'll be able to go on the treasure hunt, too! Click on the Q for the Pirate Treasure Hunt Quest and follow all the clues to where X marks the spot. If you can prove you're a brave and worthy pirate captain, you'll find the treasure, too!

Item of the Week
Each week we'll be revealing the history of an item, answering questions such as When did it first appear, how long was it in shops, is it rare? Check back each week for the info on another item.
Item: Pirate Player Piano
Where can I buy it? Shrunken Ned's Shop
How much is it and what colors does it come in? Red and Green both cost 500 credits while the Black piano costs 750 Credits
Are there any rare types? The Purple Pirate Player Piano is a beta item and currently only available by trading.
What's it for? Makes beautiful pirate music and makes a great extra seat in crowded room.
History: This item can actually be found in Disney Parks. As you drift down the lazy river that runs through cursed caves, you'll pass by the Captain's Quarters and hear the a familiar Disney pirate tune. It's coming from the Captain's player piano in the corner near the end of the scene. It was developed in a variety of colors for VMK.
Nickname: Cursed Keyboard

VMK Staff Profiles
Each week we interview a different member of the VMK Staff. Pay attention - the answers may prove useful in VMK-hosted trivia games!
Staff name: QA_Sillysyl
Three favorite pieces of furniture, and why?
Track pieces - because I love building rides (though not as good as some of our VMK friends), I'm a rollercoaster freak. Aquarium Water Cooler - to offer my thirsty VMK friends something cool to drink. And lastly, Aladdin's Flying Carpet - I like to make believe I can FLY!
Favorite *type* of Guest Room?
Space Mountain - reminds me of the ride...it's my favorite attraction at the park.
Favorite Public Space?
Tomrrowland Hub - I like to sit and watch players come and go. It's nice when players stop and chat with me.
Favorite Mini-Game? (ie: Pirates, haunted Mansion .. not the hosted games)
Pirates is my favorite game. I like to sink the opposing team and win.
Best VMK moment?
It's a tough one, but I think when I hear players helping new players with questions and just being friendly are the best moments.
Favorite place to hang out in VMK?
Central Plaza - plenty of space to hang out and sit. Maybe you'll get a glimpse of Donald if you're looking up at just the right moment.
Best tip for someone new to VMK?
Read the VMK Values and become familiar with the rules, helps keep you out of trouble.
What one safety tip would you like to share with our readers?
If someone is bothering you and trying to scam you of your inventory, report them. VMK is about having fun in a safe environment.
