I Just remembered some cool info from the Quest that I have took at WDW (REMINDER: I have not been to Disney in a few months not all of it is clear if anyone knows the real one let me know and I am just remembering it now

Vmk was supposed to be Unleash the Magic but the title was too long and they wanted something more like Disney so they called it Virtual Magic Kingdom.

In The Haunted Mansion (WDW) you could ride it 100 times and you will never see all of the scenes.

One time (while Walt Disney was still alive) he saw a cowboy from Frontierland in Tomorrowland and he though it was spoiling magic so he built underground tunnels for the actors and workers to get around off of the ground.

The castle in the Magic Kingdom in WDW is much more smaller then you think it is. When it was built it was built like it was huge at the bottom and even much smaller at the top. Also the Magic Kingdom itself was built 5-6 feet above sea level same with all the buildings to give the illusion of big buidlings from the ground.

From the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness's boat to MK you will see a bridge. Now this bridge is probaly what you think over the water right? Wrong! Not many people notice this but the road is under the water bridge.

Nobody has ever seen all of the Hidden Mickeys. The Hidden Mickeys are there because it is the Imagineers (SP.) Signature of theie work.

There are more rides then you think there are in the Magic Kingdom. Some are hidden at the top of two story buildings only for the workers. ( This is not definate)
If you think there is more information that would be cool to post on this thread post it! Have fun with sharing topics in here to know what you never knew about Disney.

The Magic Kingdom is built 8 feet above sea level for the underground passages mentioned in the above statement. And it has nothing to do with the illusions of the buildings. The buildings are just like the castle. ;)

Uh.. Well I kind of learned that the buildings are a illusion because I learned it from a show so in that my friend you are wrong :)

The illusion of the taller buildings on Main Street, Cinderella Castle, and many other buildings in the theme park industry is called Forced Perspective. It's also used on the Matterhorn.

Hmm lets see:

There are no Worker only rides on top of buildings.

Unleash the magic is shorter than Virtual Magic Kingdom.

Yea, hmm... check your sources again.

BTW Most o' this was on a TV show on the Travel Channel a while ago.

I think I understnad what you means by

But, you said:

Magic Kingdom, SEE B and U, So, the Matterhorn is not in Magic Kingdom, that is only in Disneyland. And, besides, that is not a ride, that is a basketball court. Now if I did not understnad what you are saying, then, forget what I just said.

People voted for the title of VMK. It was Unleash the Magic or Rule the Kingdom.

Actually, she's right. Near the peak of the Matterhorn is a breakroom for the climbers. In the breakroom is a basketball hoop, about a third of a court I'd guess.

I took the VMK tour and they did say something about Unleash the Magic being a potential title for VMK. Look at your glow in the dark bracelet and it says Unleash the Magic on it.

That's right, bopper. "Unleash the Magic" was the original slogan, I believe it was on the original site at least during beta. I wish they'd advertise it more, I don't like this new one...

Hmmm.. Let me think.

VMK takes things out of each Disney Park, including foreign ones.
You can't see all of the hidden mickeys because some are behind the scenes.
Supposedly there is a Pirate in Pirates of the Carribean with his head as Abraham Lincoln from the Hall of Presidents.
The Wilderness lodge if you look from the pool up, has a bear face. The back of the hotel is shaped like a bear.

Some of the Architecture from Wilderness Lodge is used in the Polynesian Resort.
These are all true. I know many more but cant think of them now.
