You know, i was thinking... there is a pirates month now for the renovation of the pirates ride at WDW and DLR, but just before VMK opened, what other classic attraction had opened after renovation? It's a Small World! It got me thinking..it's late, but if Disney had a month that wasn't eventful, a Small World month would fit in flawlessly with VMK. Lol all the characters look like Small World dolls anyway! Every weekend that month, a new boys and girls costume could come out from a different section of the ride. Some ideas could be Kimonos for girls and Karate Gis for boys from Japan, Elaborate floral quincenera dresses for girls and ruffled party clothes with sombreros and maracas (sp?) for boys from Mexico, Hula Skirts for girls and clothes made from animal skins from the Pacific (I'm thinking Hawaii and Australia, but it could be anything), and on the final weekend, both costumes would be all white representing the last scene of the ride where all the countries unite. These are my ideas, but there are plenty more. The possibilities seem almost endless. Lol i would make these costumes on Photoshop, but theyd be hideous so i apologize for that. Let me know what you all think of this idea! :pirate:

It's a Small World costumes are a great idea! I think I'll use this opportunity to try to figure out how that reputation button-thingy works to show that I support your idea.

It's a bad idea for "it's a small world" costumes to come out. Did you ever notice we just assume what countries are in the ride? WAlt himself made sure that the ride didn't depict countries' names, just the country. This way no fights would break out over the ride.

omg a "it's a small world" month would kill me i mean absolutely kill me i wouldn't play vmk all that month, its a great idea for ppl who like the ride tho and if there were costumes they would be cool....but it wouldn't be a theme for me

understandable. They wouldnt necessarily have to name the specific country though..they could say "Small World Costume from Ride Room 3" or something like that to say what part of the ride it is from at least...but i completely understand where you are coming from.
