Okay so once we all knew that this month was going to be pirate month we were all excited and hoping for another Everest month. As many people have said that Everest Month was their favorite VMK themed month so far. Do you still think it is? Or do you think pirate month is much better. For those of you who don't remember Everest Month here's what happened:

Ice cube chairs were given out in winning a game of pirates and winning a game of fireworks and also coming in second or lower place in fireworks with a score of 240,000 or higher.

Higher credits: This was the first month that the credits changed from extremely low to very high. Winning a game of level three pirate you would get 150 credits. Winning a game of fireworks you would get 900 credits. And getting in second place of lower in fireworks and getting a score over 240,000 you would get 1,900 credits.

Valentine's day: On Valentine's day pink and magenta heart chairs were sold. Valentine's 2006 pin. Pink dresses were re-released for girls.

Bat magic: Bat magic was sold for 10,000 credits

Everest Ride-A-Thon: The Ride-A-Thon was a weekend event were you went to host rooms to ride a short ride. At the end of the ride you would get a free item for riding. On Fryday you got Everest ride tracks. Saturday you got ice cube chairs. And on Sunday you got snow rugs.

Two week extention: They extended Everet Month two weeks. The credits stayed the same and on the last weekend the was another Ride-A-Thon were you would get the Mountain Chair.

So as you can see Everest Month was very packed. And now were in Pirates Month. So do you think that so far Pirates Month is better than Everest Month? I think that even at the end of the month Everest will still be better. Post your opinions.

well everest definetly had Alot of stuff but i think pirates will be alright because i mean everyone like new coustumes and all that jazz. but maybe everest will still be at the top who knows lol

I think Eversest month is better than Pirate Month so far. That is my opinion.

Well Everest Month is better RIGHT now but When pirates costumes are going to be released it's going to be so much better.. I have my credits saved! This is really the only costume I've been looking forward to for a VERY long time

In my opinion, Everst month rox the sox off of Pirates month. June is halfway over and we have seen what heppen? A set of pins and that's it. The build-up to the opening of Expedtiion Everst was way better that the current build-up to the re-opening of POC. No amount of costumes released can compare to ice cubes,extra credits, everst ride pieces, and the events (and there were several all month long). I am not going to compare the out of game prizes yet as the pirates game has not opened still.

Well, so far Pirates Month has had nothing special besides a new pin set. There have been no "big" events (like Ride-a-thon) and there have been no super-special sales (bat magic). It's just kind of disapointing so far.

But, the big downer of Everest Month was the Everest Ride Competition. I see you failed to mention that in your first post, giga.
