Just a bunch of cheats and stuff that is realated to Animal crossing wild wild world and hints and stuff pretty useful post to keep this thread alive and if you have any questions feel free to ask
Hint: Grow a Golden Shovel
Bury a shovel anywhere and dig it up one day (24 hours) later. The shovel will become a Golden Shovel. Using the Golden Shovel, you can bury bags of money to hopefully grow money trees. Larger lumps of money increase the odds of growing a fruitful money tree.
Hint: Growing Fruit Trees
You can plant a piece of fruit to grow a tree that bears that fruit. However, not all parts of your town are suitable for growing. To ensure that your fruit tree grows, chop down an existing tree (preferrably one that dooesn't grow fruit) and dig up the stump with a shovel. Bury the fruit in the hole you dug and it will always grow into a fruit bearing tree.
Hint: Get New Furniture for Free
If you've got some stuff you don't want, like ugly furniture or shirts, you can attach it to a letter and send the letter to another resident of your town. Town residents will almost always respond with a letter of their own and a different item attached.
Hint: Magic Rock Money
In town, you may attempt to hit each rock with a tool to shake it out for money. You may continue your shake down until this rock exhausts itself. This manner of money-making may be done once per day.
When you hit the rock, money will come out. However, you will bounce back. You will have to run back to hit it again. To prevent this, dig holes around you in a pattern so that you won't bounce away. You can make 20,000+ bells a day this way, but you have to be fast to get this much.
Hint: Snowman Furniture
In the winter where you find snowballs get a rather big snowball and push a little smaller one on top and a snowman will be made and will talk about how happy he is and a little while later he will send you a letter and a piece of furniture but whatch out the furniture may be worth a lot in Tom Nook's store but you can't buy it in the catalog also it gives you a lot of HRA points.
Hint: Recycle Free Items
Go by the post office recylcing bin daily and occasionally, there's junk left over you may find valuable or useful.
Hint: Surface To Air - Second Chances
If you are willing to travel through time, you can get a second chance to shoot down Gulliver's UFO. If you see his UFO flying across the sky but are unable to shoot it down, log the precise time and then save and quit your game.
Reset your clock to the previous day and then move forward to the day when he is scheduled to appear. Make certain that you set the clock to a point that is about half an hour earlier than his first appearance because he usually will appear a bit earlier each time you see him.
In other words, if he flew across the sky at 7.45 a.m. on Tuesday, be ready, slingshot in hand, at 7.20 a.m. You will see him fly across the sky again and have a second chance to shoot him down. (Going back in time within the same day only does NOT work. You first must go back to the previous day.)
Easy non-native fruits
To get other fruits in your game:
-Check the beach once in a while a coconut will be there.
-Check your mail your mom might send you a new fuit.
-Mail neighbours native fruit and they migh send you non-native fruit.
-And the easiest way is to do multiplayer with a friend and get fruis from there trees.
*Do not sell your Non-native fruits instead plant them to get many more.
An Open Day is a day when a random Special Visitor may appear in your Town.
Weekend days are not Open Days, as you will have Lyle and K.K. Slider in town
on Saturdays and Joan in town on Sunday mornings. You cannot have more than
one Special Visitor in Town at any given time. Provided that you have
scheduled Redd's appearance in your Village through Lyle, you will have one
weekday that is not an Open Day, and that will be the day that Redd is
scheduled to appear. Apart from these days, all other weekdays
constitute 'Open Days', which means that they are days when Dr. Shrunk,
Katrina, Gracie, Gulliver, Pascal, Saharah or Wendell may appear.
Wild World appears to operate on a weekly basis and all Special Visitors may
be 'loaded' into the game on Saturday, which is when you are given the option
of deciding upon the day for Redd's visit for the next week. Two random
Special Visitors therefore would be 'loaded' into the game before the start of
the week.
Of all these Special visitors, it is only Gulliver that poses any problem, as
his appearance is a very brief one, consisting solely of the moment when his
UFO flies across the top screen of your DS. I therefore recommend a simple
process of elimination on each 'Open Day' to determine whether there is any
chance of seeing Gulliver. Do this by searching for any other Special
Visitors first.
The easiest Special Visitors to find are Gracie, Katrina and Pascal. Go first
to the Plaza in front of the Town Hall to discover if either Gracie or Katrina
are in your town. If you see neither Gracie's automobile nor Katrina's tent,
you can eliminate them from the list. Next, go to the beach and search the
entire length of the shore for Pascal. If you do not find him, you can cross
another Special Visitor from the list. Now you will be obliged to search your
entire town for Dr. Shrunk, Saharah and Wendell. If you find any one of these
Visitors, you will be able to cross Gulliver from your list. If none of these
Visitors are to be found, you may wish to watch the heavens carefully for
Gulliver's UFO.
You can go to the Chequepoint to ask Booker if there is anything 'new' in
town, but I prefer not to go into any building if there is a chance that
Gulliver may appear. Gifts that cross the sky will be missed if you go into a
building. In the same fashion, you could miss Gulliver if he is due to fly
across the sky at the time you enter the Town Gate. The real problem when
entering a building of any kind is that it takes over a minute to enter and
exit. If you see Gulliver as you enter, you will not be able to exit in time
to shoot him down! That is why I prefer to search for special visitors
myself. You can destroy any new weeds as you do so as well, which will take
care of that task for the day. Incidentally, Booker does not predict the
appearance of Gulliver, nor will he recognise his presence in your town when
his UFO is on the ground!
Gulliver's appearances DO follow a schedule whenever he appears in your Town.
He will appear no earlier than 6.00 a.m. If you begin to play your game at
6.00 a.m., he will cross the sky within 40 minutes. He may appear as early as
6.02 a.m. or as late as 6.35 a.m., but he will appear within this time frame
if he is scheduled to make an appearance on this particular day.
I recommend that you equip your slingshot and wait for Gulliver as close to
the northern border of your village as possible, preferably in front of your
Chequepoint. This will give you the best opportunity to shoot down Gulliver's
UFO. More details about Gulliver's visits will be found under the heading of
Gulliver.
You should have two random Special Visitors in your town each week. Redd and
K.K. Slider are NOT random visitors in this sense. If you never have
connected with another player, either through DS to DS or Wi-Fi, you never
will encounter Blanca, Kaitlin or Katie the Lost Kitten. If you have
connected with another player, these three random visitors will be added to
the list of possible visitors to your town. There are sections on each in
this guide.
After searching for any Special Visitors, you can perform your other daily
tasks.
Here is a list of all Special Characters in Wild World:
Blanca:
Blanca is a cat without a face who will visit your village on a random basis
if you allow downloads by choosing that option when you access your
telephone. You only will encounter her if you have connected either with
another player through DS to DS or Wi-Fi.
When you first encounter her, she will ask you why you are laughing.
Your options:
I'm laughing at my masterpiece.
I'm not laughing.
She will be happier if you say that you are not laughing but will not believe
you.
She then will ask:
'But... why are you making that face? You're trying to stop yourself from
laughing right now, aren't you? There's nothing I hate more than when people
lie to me just to calm me down!'
(She then will become quite enraged.)
Ugh! This face was a gift from Lobey, in Hamlet! It was designed according
to the principles of 24... Lobey seemed like such a trustworthy snowbird...
How... How can you laugh at a work of art?
(Again, she becomes enraged.)
Anyway, hello. I'm... Oh, no... Not again. I can tell by the way you're
acting... It's my face, isn't it? There's something wrong with it, isn't
there? Look, I hate to bother you, but would you draw me a new face?
Your options:
Oh, it's fine.
Sure!
Hey, just... make sure you make me look normal, all right? If you make me
look like a freak, I swear, I'll cry!
...You've been warned!'
You now will be given a template on which to draw a face. When you are
finished, you will be asked to name the 'concept' of the face you have
created.
Blanca will be a bit uncertain still as to whether you have created a decent
face or made her a laughingstock. If you speak to her again, she will go
through the same procedure once more, and if you wish, you can redraw
your 'masterpiece'. Otherwise, tell her that she looks fine and she will
depart content.
Once you have given Blanca a face, it will be part of her 'repertoire' and may
be seen by players in other villages.
Cornimer:
Some people believe that Cornimer is none other than Tortimer wearing an acorn
on his head. Others suspect that he is either Tortimer's twin brother or
another member of his family. Whatever the facts, Cornimer takes Tortimer's
place as presiding authority during the Acorn Festival.
Exchange acorns with Cornimer during the Acorn Festival to obtain items from
the Mushroom Series. Do NOT give Cornimer rotten acorns!
Acorns may be found by shaking trees that are neither evergreens nor fruit-
bearing trees.

pay for the item.
Dr. Shrunk:
Dr. Shrunk is a truly bizarre character who is pink with pink clownish hair
and is a psychotherapist and part-time comedian.
He appears in your village on a random day from 6.00 a.m. to midnight and will
teach you the fine art of emotional expression by giving you
different 'emotion buttons'. These 'emotion buttons' can be found in your
keyboard menu and each will have a corresponding icon on it. 'Shyness'
shows a blushing squirrel.
Express yourself by tapping Dr. Shrunk.
For example:
'You have now learned to express Shyness. You can activate this from the
keyboard window.'
These are 'expressions' that can be used when communicating with other players
through the text messaging option. There appears to be no real use for them
whatsoever in a single player game except to amuse yourself by watching your
character 'express' himself/herself when alone. You cannot use them to
communicate with Animals as there is no way to open the keyboard menu when
interacting with an Animal.
Dr. Shrunk: 'Ah! So you've finally realised that you have some issues to
work out! Well, admitting you have a problem is the first step towards mental
health! You may find my methods a little ... unorthodox at times. We'll just
progress slowly. First, let's tackle the difficulty you have, er, expressing
yourself. Expression is my forte, as I'm also a stand-up comic! On the side,
that is... Humour can be so healing and is often overlooked by the medical
community. Yes, try this one on for size! A three-legged dog walked into a
saloon, hopped up to the counter, and said, 'I'm looking for the guy who shot
my paw.'
'Hmm... Very interesting. Your face is expressionless, perhaps even slack-
jawed. Is it because you haven't heard of me, or is it a more serious
problem?'
Your options:
Who are you?
I know you.
Dr. Shrunk: 'Perhaps a better question is ... Who are YOU? Who is the REAL
YOU?! As Dr. Shrunk, traveling therapist and
part-time comedian, it's my job to help you answer these questions. So what
do you say? Are you interested in unearthing the real you? In delving into
your subconscious and learning the art of true expression? I warn you,
processing your feelings can be difficult work, but in the end, it can only
lead to a happier, healthier, more EXPRESSIVE you! So, what do you say? Care
to learn how to express yourself?'
Your options:
No, thanks. *
OK, OK...
*( If you choose this option, you still will be required to progress with the
lesson. He will assume you are joking and tell you that humour can be a
defence mechanism.)
'Splendid! Splendid! More people COULD benefit from self-exploration than
DO. As I said before, you can call me Dr. Shrunk. Don't worry about being
candid. All of our sessions are subject to doctor-patient confidentiality!
Got it?'
Your options:
Okeydokey!
Uh, OK, I guess.
'Good! Your enthusiasm will serve you well in your journey to expression! As
sentient beings, each of us possesses a wealth of memories and emotions. If
we keep them bottled up, we will burst, like so many agitated cans of soda.
And believe me, the cleanup is dreadfully messy. I cannot stress enough the
importance of expressing your feelings. In these sessions, you may unearth
some painful memories and emotions... but you must press on! For your own
sake! For all of ours! Just follow my lead!
'First, I will show you the proper expression of an emotion. When you grasp
the nuances of this feeling, you must tap me. Confidently!
'If some trauma from your past has made you wary of physical touch, pressing
the X button has the same effect as tapping me.
Hmm... I suppose we'll have to address that issue in another session...
Regardless, don't be shy! Go on, tap me!'
(Lightbulb goes on when you tap him)
'Yes! That's precisely it! You've just made a major breakthrough! And you
have now learned how to express shyness! Like all expressions, you can
activate this from the keyboard window.
'Of course, the range of human emotions is deep, and to be well-rounded, you
must learn as many expressions as you can!'
After:
Dr. Shrunk: 'Even as an expert on both the subconsious and the expressive
arts, I still learn about feelings by observing those around me! (Nut jobs
everywhere...)'
Then:
'I wear yellow on the outside because yellow is how I feel on the inside...
Give that a little time to process.
'It's important to lose your inhibitions and just let yourself go! That's the
only way you can achieve TRUE EXPRESSION!'
Now you will find your first 'emotion button' in your keyboard menu. It has
the icon of a blushing squirrel on it.
On Dr. Shrunk's next visit:
Dr. Shrunk: 'Who am I, you ask? You've already forgotten? Hmm.. This is
troubling. We'll just have to add amnesia to the list of issues you have, I
suppose. Well, Dr. Shrunk's the name, self-expression's the game. A deadly
serious game... So, how are you? How has your emotional exploration been
going?'
Your options:
Good, good.
I'm in a slump.
Choose: 'I'm in a slump.'
Dr. Shrunk: 'What you need is an emotional jump start... Yes, indeed... All
right, I've been saving this exercise for a crisis, but this is one! Every
feeling is brought on by a situation or event that acts as a trigger. Let's
practice identifying feelings that occur in various situations. Now watch how
I express my emotions in each scenario.
Now, why don't you select an emotion that you want to work on? Once you
witness that emotion, tap me.'
Your options:
Confusion.
Joy.
Distress.
Inspiration.
If you choose 'Joy':
Dr. Shrunk: 'I've spoken to you about the importance of FEELINGS, but do you
know why? Well, maybe this sounds like patchouli-drenched hippie tomfoolery
but... When you are one with your feelings, you are free to be yourself.
It's true!' Flowers pouring out of him signifies 'Joy'. If you do not tap
him quickly enough, he will say:
Dr. Shrunk: 'Hmm... You'll have to work on your reflexes next! That was a
very basic trigger, and you completely failed to recognise the corresponding
expression! Perhaps this feeling is too painful for you right now. Why don't
we try another?'
Same options as before, choose:
Inspiration.
Dr. Shrunk: 'So , how many therapists does it take to change a lightbulb?
Three! One to change it and two others to process the loss of the old one!'
A lightbulb goes on over his head. Tap him.
Dr. Shrunk: 'Wonderful! You've learned how to express inspiration! We've
made some REAL progress today! Remember, feelings are like toes! They have
to breathe free, or they'll stink to high heaven! Get it?!'
Now you will see another 'Emotion' button on your keyboard menu. It will have
the icon of a lightbulb on it. You can open this menu and tap on any Emotion
button at any time to 'express it' but it really is most effective and fun
when you are using a multi-player connection.
Each time you have a session with Dr. Shrunk, you will acquire a
new 'expression' on your keyboard menu.
Among them are:
Inspiration.
Realisation.
Happiness.
Agreement.
Happiness is the icon of a chipmunk surrounded by musical notes. When this
is 'expressed', musical notes of different colours burst forth from your
character.
Dr. Shrunk will give you four emotions from which to choose each time you see
him. Others are:
Fear.
Approval.
Confusion.
Rage.
Scheming.
Shock
Surprise.
Disbelief.
Irritation.
Fatigue.
Disappointment.
Distress.
Laughter.
Discontent.
Fear.
Thought.
Exasperation
Love.
Acceptance.
Blankness.
If you choose 'Disappointment', Dr. Shrunk will say something very interesting:
Dr. Shrunk: 'For this next trigger, I'm going to refer to an actual event. Do
you remember... When Tom Nook asked you if he looked like a man dressed in a
raccoon suit? And do you remember how you laughed and said you could see the
zipper? Later he said to me, 'I am not a mascot, hm? No no. How terrible.' '
In fact, Dr. Shrunk will make more than one reference to his theory that Tom
Nook is a man dressed in a raccoon suit.
Acceptance is an icon of a squirrel smiling slightly. It is expressed by
closing the eyes and lifting both arms in a shrug. Rather dull.
If you choose 'Agreement', Dr. Shrunk will say: 'I think it's because of my
multi-dimensional outlook on life, but people tell me all the time that
I 'look younger than I really am.'
Agreement is the icon of a squirrel with an enormous smile. It is 'expressed'
by nodding repeatedly. Not very dramatic.
Approval is the icon of a squirrel clapping his hands. When 'expressed', your
character will clap his/her hands.
Blankness is the icon of a squirrel obscured by a cold misty wind. It
is 'expressed' by a cold wind blowing a dying leaf across the character's face.
Disappointment is the icon of a squirrel with a broken heart.
Its 'Expression' is a pink heart breaking in two.
Disbelief is the icon of a squirrel with huge round eyes. It is expressed
with a musical chord as well as a short burst of multi-coloured rays emanating
from your character.
Discontent is the icon of a squirrel with down-turned mouth and eyes tilted
downwards, expressed by throwing the arms out and making a sound like coffee
percolating. Not much different from 'irritation'.
Distress is the icon of a squirrel weeping copious tears. It is 'expressed'
by weeping. Quite dramatic.
Exasperation is the icon of a squirrel with blue mist emanating from its
mouth. It is expressed by an audible sigh as well as a puff of white mist.
Fear is the icon of a blue squirrel with brittle lines of frozen fear
radiating from either side of its head. It is expressed by shivering.
Happiness is the icon of a squirrel surrounded by musical notes. When this
is 'expressed', musical notes of different colours burst forth from your
character.
Inspiration is the icon of a squirrel with a lightbulb over its head. It is
expressed by a bulb lighting up over your character's head.
Irritation is the icon of a squirrel with down-turned mouth, expressed by
throwing out both arms and making a sound like coffee percolating.
Joy is the icon of a smiling squirrel surrounded by flowers. It is expressed
by flowers pouring forth from the head.
Laughter is the icon of a squirrel with a huge smile. It is 'expressed' by
four yellow double rays that emanate from the character's head.
Love is an icon of a squirrel with two hearts in the place of eyes. It is
expressed with a pink heart that floats up into the air.
(To 'teach' this emotion, Dr. Shrunk becomes rather alarmingly flirtatious.)
Rage is the icon of a red squirrel with yellow demon eyes. It is expressed by
a red glow that suffuses the character's head, with a puff of white smoke
emanating from the top of the head, like a tea kettle on the boil.
Realisation is the icon of a squirrel with an exclamation point over its
face. It is expressed by an exclamation point over the character's head.
Scheming is an icon of a squirrel with gleaming eyes. It is expressed by a
little gleaming gold star that lights up for a second.
Surprise is expressed with white rays of light that radiate from your
character's head. The icon is of a squirrel with rays of white light.
If you choose 'Exasperation,' Shrunk will tell you: 'A deep sigh is a
person's way of letting of steam... And if that sigh smells like morning
breath, it's even more distressing.'
Incidentally, only four 'expressions' can be kept at one time, so if you wish
to learn a new expression after obtaining four from Dr. Shrunk, you will have
to 'forget' one of the old ones. He will tell you that you have too many
conflicting emotions and ask you to choose the one that you are willing to
discard.
By the way, when he asks, 'So, how are you? How has your emotional
exploration been going?', if you respond, 'Good, good', he will not offer you
the option of learning a new emotion. You must tell him that you are 'in a
slump' in order to be taught a new emotion.
Gracie
Gracie the Giraffe flaunts her outrageous sense of fashion in Wild World as
she does in the original Animal Crossing. She can be found in the Town Plaza
with her sports car on a random weekday. In Wild World, she will present you
with a Fashionista Badge that is in the form of a 'Certificate' letter after
responding to her 'Pop Quiz'. You no longer have to slave for her by washing
her car, but you will have to pay her a fair sum of money if you want a Gracie
original design.
N.B. Make certain when you speak to Gracie that you have one letter slot
available for her 'Certificate' and two item slots available in your Pockets
for the outfit you are wearing and any head accessory that you are wearing, so
that she can give you a new outfit and new accessory. Those you were wearing
beforehand will go into your Pockets. If you do not have empty slots, she
will not be able to give you anything!
The first time you meet her, she will give you a 'Fashionista Badge' after she
gives you a 'Pop Quiz'. This actually is a 'Certificate' in the form of a
letter, and a gift will be attached to it. The gift attached to this first
Certificate can be anything from an outfit to a rose. If it is an outfit, it
actually can be a Gracie original, the 'Moldy Shirt', a sign of her total
despair at what she perceives as your lack of fashion sense. If you return to
speak to her afterwards, she will offer to give you clothing but you have to
tell her how much you are willing to pay. 5000 Bells is considered worthy of
a 'deluxe' effort. You may receive an outfit or an outfit with an
accessory. Bear in mind the fact that what may look like a new hairstyle
(and a horrible one at that) may be nothing more than a wig which can be
removed afterwards simply by tapping your character and choosing the option
to 'Remove headgear'.

K.K. Slider:
K.K. Slider is the same talented musician dog that appears on Saturday nights
in the original Animal Crossing. Instead of finding him at the train station
(which does not exist in Wild World), you will find him on the stage at 'The
Roost' on Saturday evenings from 7.30 p.m. to midnight. You must take a seat
in one of the chairs at the foot of the stage in order to listen to his
concert. If you make a request, he will play the tune requested and then
will 'burn' a 'bootleg' CD for you to play at home.

Please note that a misspelling or mistake in punctuation will cause K.K.
Slider to play a different song and then tell you that the song is not on his

Pascal:
Pascal the Otter is to be found on the beach, on a little spit of land that
extends into the ocean. You will find him on a random weekday (Monday through
Friday) between 6.00 a.m. and noon. He likes to speak in rather poor rhyming
fashion. For example, 'Hanging out on land, maannn, it's not so bad. Can I,
uhhh... can I give you some wisdom, maaannnn?' He will give you an item from
the Pirate theme, including Carpet and Wall, if you are willing to listen to
his words of 'wisdom'.
Pirate Theme:
Anchor: Not for Sale; 475 Bells
Barrel: Not for Sale; 200 Bells
Helm: Not for Sale; 475 Bells
Keg: Not for Sale; 200 Bells
Ship Cannon: Not for Sale; 455 Bells
Ship Compass: Not for Sale; 400 Bells
Wall/Carpet
Sea View: Not for Sale; 1000 Bells
Sea Deck: Not for Sale; 1000 Bells
Each of Pascal's items is worth 1543 points towards your HRA rating, so
reserving one room in your house for the Pirate Theme is a good way to boost
your rating quickly.
N.B. Once you have been given an item from the Pirate Theme by Pascal, it
will become available in your Catalogue from Tom Nook.
Pascal is the character in Wild World who will be able to give you the Golden
Axe, provided you perform the trading sequence that leads to it. More
information about this is given in the Special Trading Sequences section.
Options:
Go for it, dude!
No thanks, bro!
After giving you an item, he will do a rather dramatic back flip back into the
water and vanish.
It is he who will give you the Golden Axe if you perform the trading sequence.
N.B. Sometimes Pascal will not be found on your first visit to the beach, but
you may find him if you return later to the same spot that same morning.
There have been cases when he has been found shortly after noon as well.
Pete
Pete is in charge of the post in your village in Wild World in the same way as
he acts as courier for all letters and parcels in the original game. In Wild
World, however, you can use your slingshot to shoot him out of the sky at 9.00
a.m. and/or 5.00 p.m. as he crosses the sky. This is the only way in which
you can interact with Pete.
When you shoot him down, you will find him on the ground:
Pete: Owie... Ugh...
Yow ow ow...
Hey! What are you doing in a place like this?
My name is Pete!
I'm the only mail carrier in (name of village)! You know those letters in
your mailbox?
Well, I'm the one who flies through the sky and makes sure they get there.
Yep, at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. I make sure they're in your mailbox, safe and sound.
For some reason, something told me flying wasn't a good idea today...
I don't know what it was. Something instinctual, I guess.
Well, hindsight really is 20/20 because... Oh! It was just terrible...
Who would just randomly shoot at the sky with a slingshot? What, do I LOOK
like
a pigeon?! Sheesh!
If you speak to him again:
Pete: Sorry, but I'm still behind my quota for the day...
I'll catch you again later, and we'll talk.
Then:
Pete: What are you doing there? Selling snake oil or something again?
Redd:
Redd will come to your village one day each week. His hours are 6.00 a.m. to
12.00 midnight. Redd's Emporium is the 'black market' tent in which he
conducts his business and it will contain a display of three items that you
can purchase. You will not be able to enter the tent without a password.
Speak to an Animal in your Village to obtain the password. It will change
every week. When you do enter the tent, you will be unable to purchase
anything until you have paid Redd a 'one-time membership fee' of 3000 Bells'.
Henceforth, he will send you a letter that contains the new password each week.
On any festival day when Tortimer is found in the Plaza, Redd will not visit
your town.
Most of Redd's items are legitimate, and he is your only source for the
paintings that the Museum accepts as donations for their art exhibit. He does
sell forged paintings from time to time, however. Forged paintings will not
be accepted by the Museum. You either can sell them to Tom Nook for 10 Bells
or give them to Lyle for partial reimbusement of 100 Bells under your
insurance policy.
You can regulate Redd's visits by speaking to Lyle and choosing the day that
suits you best. The precise relationship between Lyle and Redd is an Animal
Crossing mystery, although Lyle is your sole recourse when Redd sells you a
counterfeit painting.
Redd evidently attempts to flog counterfeit art elsewhere in your village.
Blathers may confide in you as to Redd's efforts to sell forged paintings to
Brewster at The Roost.
Redd's Passwords
Redd's Passwords ordinarily consist of two words to three words that complete
a phrase. He will send you a letter each week that contains his new
password. One of the Animals in your town will be happy to tell you
the 'secret' password as well if you speak to him/her on the day that Redd's
tent is in your village.
Here is a list of Redd's passwords:
He will begin by declaring: 'You say:
'An open wallet' 'is often empty'
'Ask and you shall' 'be charged'
'Bottom dollar' 'top dog'
'Cat's away' 'Mice shop'
'Courage is nice' 'cash is freedom'

Rover:
Rover is the cat from the original Animal Crossing game who meets you on the
train and interviews you with respect to your name, gender and the name of
your town. Although there is no train in Wild World and Kapp'n has taken over
Rover's role when he drives you to your town in his taxi, you still can meet
and interact with Rover. You only will find him at The Roost at certain
specific times and his appearance then will be random. He can be found only
from 12.00 noon to 1.30 p.m. or 2.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. on weekdays.
When you speak to him at The Roost, he will say: 'Oh, hello there! You're
Hershey, right? I hear that you live in a gorgeous house! Is that
true? 'Aaaaahhh! Don't look at me like that! I'm not some kind of coffee-
drinking creep!
I've just heard the folks in VMK talking about you is all.
Then:
'Your name is Hershey, right? Weird! I know a kid with the same name as you!
I wonder how that kid is doing...'
He will ask about Blanca, saying: 'Say... Have you seen a suspicious-looking
cat around here lately?'
Your options:
Oh yeah!
What? Who?
If you answer, 'What? Who?', he will say:
'Oh, really? Well, it's been showing up more and more frequently.
I'd just want a chance to see that strange cat one more time.'
If you say 'Oh yeah!', Rover will become very excited and declare:
'WHAT?! You SAW it?! WHERE?!
Wait, no, don't tell me!
I'll find it myself!
Wow, how lucky! I hope I get a chance to draw that strange cat's face again!'
Other conversations with Rover include:
'I wonder what happened to that crazy kid. Trust me, I had reasons to worry...
Eh? Oh, I'm just talking to myself! Not to worry!
After all, life is shaped by the people you meet every day.'
'Hey, that reminds me! Have you ever taken a trip out of town? Just for
kicks?
Your options:
Oh, sure!
Not yet.
If you say 'Oh, sure!', Rover will tell you:
'I used to ride the rails, too! Hop on the train, just see where it takes
me...
But sitting at the window... Watching the scenery fly by in a sad, painted
blur...
It made me kinda lonely. So I used to talk to anyone who wandered by!'
If you say 'Not yet', he will tell you:
'I love my life on the road. Making the rules... Hittin' the bricks when you
want...
Say! I hope that you and me can meet in another town's cafe someday!
If it happens, look me up! We'll split a cup of mud...
Cheers!'
He will wax enthusiastic about your town:
'I've wandered all over this big world, but I have a real soft spot for Asgard!
This place is so quiet and unassuming. It's paradise without the pearly gates!
Y'know, you NEVER find a city with those qualities! Asgard all the way!'
Or:
'I've wandered all over this big world, but I have a real soft spot for Asgard!
The air and water here are PERFECT! That's what makes the coffee so good.
Maybe I should move, even if it's just for the coffee alone.'
Or:
'Hey I just love this town.
I've wandered all over this big world, but I have a real soft spot for Asgard!
It's so quiet around here. I bet you fall asleep at night as soon
as you hit the pillow.
Hey, how about you letting me spend the night tonight?!
Har har har! Just kiddiing!'
If it is raining:
'This rain is brutal! On days like this, I just want to sip coffee and
relax...'
Rover can say something rather mysterious as well:
'What? Me? No, this fella's not busy at all... Well, maybe a little busy...
But I can't tell you why! Har har har har har!'
Then he will muse:
'Hmmm... What town should I visit next?'
Saharah:
When you first meet Saharah, you will find the meeting quite different from
the GC game. She will tell you that she has lost her map, and does not know
where any of her deliveries should be made. 'Ah, I have a problem... A
terrible problem... I have forgotten my map! All my addresses, gone! My
deliveries! My customers! What is a camel to do?!'
'Wait! You look like a good person! You will help me make deliveries, yes?'
Your options:
Sure!
No, thanks.
She may ask that you deliver a carpet to Phyllis at the Town Centre, so you do
it. If Pelly is on duty, she will accept on behalf of her sister.
When you return to Saharah, she may ask you to deliver a wall to Blathers.
She usually will give you two or three separate deliveries. Other possible
recipients are Tom Nook, Pelly and the Able Sisters.
'Done! It is finally done! Thank you so much for your help, friend! Please
let me show my appreciation. I have special carpets and wallpaper, yes?'
She then will ask if you prefer a specific carpet or a specific wallpaper.
You are not able to purchase anything from her, unlike the GameCube version of
Animal Crossing but she now offers wallpaper as well as carpets. These are
items that cannot be purchased from Tom Nook.
In subsequent visits, she may ask you to deliver up to three items to
permanent residents of your village. These customers include Phyllis, Pelly,
Blathers, Tom Nook, Mabel and Sable. She then will offer a specific carpet or
wallpaper in payment.
Saharah can be found on a random weekday between 6.00 a.m. and midnight. If
she is in your town on a particular day, every resident of your house should
be able to find her and perform tasks for her for a special wall or floor.
Wendell
Wendell the Walrus appropriately is from 'Tuskany' and is to be found in Wild
World as well as the original Animal Crossing. If you feed him, he will give
you a special pattern. Unlike the original Wild World, Wendell does not give
walls to match Saharah's floors. In Wild World, Saharah will allow you to
choose between a special wall and a special floor each time she visits.
Wendell's patterns can be used outside and consist of signs as well as roads,
including an intersection and crosswalk.
Wendell is to be found on a random weekday from 6.00 a.m. to midnight.
Wendell will say: 'So hungry...Must eat something... Belly... So empty...
Feels like a black hole...
It screams for food...
Fainting spell imminent...
Suh-something! ANYTHING!
Puh-please. I need FOOD!'
Your options:
Okeydokey!
Grow up.
When you give him something to eat:
'I'm back from the brink!
Thuh-thank you so much!
Sweet, sweet food!
I... MUST EAT IT!
YUMMY!
.......
Ahhhhhhhh! Mmm... burp!
So very delicious!
So very full and happy!
Thuh-thanks for your help!
Please, please take this!
It's my favourite piece!
Buh-but you'll have to toss out one that you have now. Duh-do you still want
it?'
If you say: 'Yeah!'
'Wuh-well, please decide where to put it, thuh-then.'
Your Patterns Menu will open and in the same way as you must choose a 'save'
spot for the designs that you create at the Able Sisters' Shop, you must
choose a save slot for Wendell's pattern by choosing: 'Put away here!'
Wendell: 'Oh, so very happy!
Suh-soo very gratified!
Dash pattern!'
(He gave a dash pattern when fed a coconut.)
Wendell: 'Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
So full of happiness!
Suh-so round in the belly!
'Thuh-thanks to you, muh-my belly is now o-officially full!
Nuh-next time, could you bring something different? Muh-maybe?
If you do, I'll give you a duh-different picture!'
Wendell's patterns, like the patterns you create at the Able Sisters' Shop,
can be placed on hats, outfits, umbrellas or on the ground of your village.
See the section on Creating Designs for more details.
Each type of food that you give Wendell to eat will result in a different
pattern. There are patterns that are assigned to more than one fish or fruit,
however. For example, a coconut will give you a 'dash pattern'. A peach or
any other fruit apart from coconuts will give you a 'block pattern'. A carp
will give you 'Road No. 3' pattern which is a corner pattern, to be used in
the southeast corner of any road. A freshwater goby will give you 'Road No. 4
pattern' which is another corner pattern, to be used in the southwest corner
of any road. An octopus will give you 'Town Hall design'. A sea bass or a
red snapper will give you 'Home pattern'. A dab will give you 'no entry
design'. A yellow perch or loach will give a 'West pattern', which is nothing
more than a road with a dotted line going from east to west. As you can see,
fish that are similar in terms of season, locale and/or type will give you the
same pattern.
Here is a list of patterns with the food item needed to acquire them:
'Block pattern' : all fruits except coconuts (A dark red brick pattern)
'Dash pattern' : coconut (A yellow and orange upside-down V pattern)
'Overhead View A' : catfish
'Overhead View D': gar
'No entry design' : dab, football fish
'No U-turn design' : horse mackerel
'Puddle pattern' : frog
'Road 1 pattern' : cherry salmon (This is a pattern for the northwest
corner of a road.)
'Road No. 3' pattern : carp (This is a pattern for the southeast corner of a
road.)
'Road No. 4' pattern : freshwater goby (This is a pattern for the southwest
corner of a road.)
'Left pattern' : zebra turkeyfish
'Right pattern' : seahorse
'West pattern' : loach, yellow perch (This is a pattern for a straight road
going east-west.)
'Four-way pattern' : rainbow trout (This is the pattern for the centre of a
roundabout.)
'Point 1 pattern' : salmon (This is a square with the numeral 1 on the right
and a point or dot in the lower left hand corner)
Crosswalk design: eel
Drain pattern: ocean sunfish
'Home design' : sea bass, red snapper
'Town Hall design' : octopus
'Right pattern' is a road sign of an arrow pointing to the right.
As you can see, fish that are found in the stream will give road designs while
fish that are found in the large pond will give the different elements of
the 'Overhead View' which is a stylised silhouette of Pete flying over the
town.
Incidentally, Wendell considers neither flowers nor insects to be 'food'. He
will keep them if you offer them to him, but will pronounce them inedible and
continue to complain of desperate hunger.
Wishy the Wishing Star
If you see a shooting star or a series of falling stars one night, you will
receive a letter the next day from 'Wishy the Star' with a gift if you
acknowledge the star by bowing. You must have empty hands, however, so that
you either can press the A button to acknowledge the star or tap yourself with
the stylus. This will cause you to make a reverent bow with hands clasped as
you make your wish. If you are holding a tool, you cannot make the 'wish'.
Fortunately, shooting stars usually appear as a sequence, and if you miss the
first one, you may be prepared for the one that follows. A shooting star is
accompanied by a unique sound as it whizzes across the sky. You will have a
few seconds in which to make your wish, but once the Star has disappeared from
the sky entirely, you no longer will be able to bow, which means that you will
not be able to make a wish. If you are able to bow, it is a sign that your
wish has been made successfully. You may wish on more than one star in the
course of a single night, but you will receive only one letter and one gift.
N.B. More than one town reported the appearance of shooting stars at various
times on the night of Friday, 20 January, so it is possible that, like all
heavenly bodies, they follow a set schedule.
If you miss your chance to bow to the Shooting Star, you can reset your clock
to try again. You must reset it to the previous day, however, even if you set
it to 11.59 p.m. Shooting Stars can appear throughout the night as long as
stars are visible in the sky. I have seen them as late (or early) as 3.30 a.m.
An example of a letter 'From the Star':
Earthbound Hershey,
I heard a special someone make a wish one night... It's my job to make that
wish come true...
From Wishy the Star
Gifts from Wishy are ordinary items that can be found at Nook's shops, unlike
gifts from other Special Visitors.
IV. The Roost
As mentioned previously, other characters apart from K.K. Slider visit The
Roost on occasion. It is at 'The Roost' that you will have your only
opportunity to meet Rover in a Wild World. Rover may appear at the Roost from
12.00 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. or from 2.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. throughout the week.
Kapp'n may be found there at the same times. Lyle may be found at the Roost
on Sundays only from 12.00 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. Pelly may be seen from 6.00 a.m.
to 6.55 a.m. throughout the week and Phyllis from 9.00 p.m. to 9.55 p.m.
Sunday through Friday. If your Village has Nookington's, then you may see
Harriet at the Roost from 11.00 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday. Last
but not least, the awful Resetti actually may be found relaxing at the Roost
from 2.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. only on Sunday. Bear in mind the fact that all
Animal appearances, apart from that of K.K. Slider, are random.
You can change your hair style if you have the shop called Nookington's. Here
are all the hair styles for the Shampoodle-

Hope this will help
Mushroom Series:

N.B. The values given for each item represent the prices that Tom Nook will
pay for the item.
Dr. Shrunk:
