I knew someone a while back that had his id changed, it went to guest number##### and then he was given a new name. How can I do that? And if I do, will i lose my rooms and furniture?

VMK will only allow a requested name change if that name contains personally identifiable information or if the user has legitimate reasons for requesting the change. If you don't like the name you have, they would rather you created a new character.
