They pretty much judge any room any day of the week. They usually won't be judging during the times of the HOST games and stuff. Most likely when they're not doing the HOST games, they're probably going around VMK and seeing if there are any Award worthy rooms.

I asked HOST_Hula before, she said that its a secret (staff-only-information kind of thing) or else it wouldn't be exciting if the players know who judges, and when the judging happens.

I have won Best Guest Room and Best Game room. I have found that in my rooms, if it is worthy of BGR, it will tend to be popular. For example, my "Who wants to be Rich" game fills up almost immediately when I open it, and I don't really even invite anybody. It's because it has a interesting name, a cool room, and is a fun game. It is not too easy, not to difficult. People tend to stay because they want to get in the "hot seat".
I don't know any staff, but they came after a few days of the room being opened.

For my other room, "Somewhere over the Rainbow", it was a cool room! It was a giant rainbow that you could sit on. People liked to hang out. It didn't get way up there on the popularity list, but staff eventually came in after a few days of it being opened.

So it does take some time of sitting in your room hoping to be noticed.
Invite your friends and encourage (but not demand) that they invite friends. If it is a good game or room, people will stay!

Make sure your room has an interesting name so that people will want to come and see what it is all about!

But i thought only Host_ judge rooms?
