I have heard rumors from a very reliable source that the famous Blue Bayou Restaurant will be re-opening with a bistro themed menu, and the Monte Cristo sandwich will be made using a different recipe. Not only will these changes ruin the theme and show of the Blue Bayou, but changing the classic Monte Cristo sandwich recipe will certainly spell disaster.

For those of you who don't know what or where the Blue Bayou is . . . The Blue Bayou is the Resturaunt found on the Bayou at the beginning of the POTC attraction at the DRL.

Please post your thoughts.

Thats not what i read on miceage... Al said the Blue bayou will be going up a few notches in class..

The new Blue Bayou menu will feature southern interpretations of modern continental cuisine, and the prices will be a notch above what you've been used to paying for both lunch and dinner. Let's just hope Ouimet's bravado lives up to the reality when that famous old restaurant reopens later in June. Disneyland visitors wanting less costly and more traditional Blue Bayou fare like the Monte Cristo Sandwich will have to head next door to the bistro-like menu of Café Orleans.

you were partly correct... just wrong location getting a bistro-like makeover...
