To be a tester, you have to go through training school. So just to ruin your hopes, you have to go to College. *Unless you are old enough already, I just assume you are not that old though! :birthday:

Everyone wants to be a tester to clear it up. Yavn is the only key to be a tester. No you do not need to go anywhere but your computer to be one unless yavn is in a disney park then you should just to meet him so find him by searching yavn in the guest rooms and if he is in on of his rooms you might be a tester but his current signature says "I have nothing to test or give away!" so I am doubting any new testers soon.

i asked him ages ago and he said he will keep me in mind
then i asked him a couple of days ago to see if he remembered and he still did

but he said there is nothing for us to test so far but when it does he will contact us (well some person who wants to be a tester as well anyway)

The problem is, is that Yavn is a very very very busy person. And when he is online, everyone is in a rush to see him, either in hopes of seeing something new, getting that cursed magic pin that they are unable to recieve, ask him a question VMK, about being a tester, or just to meet him.

That puts you into the long long waiting list to find him [if you are lucky enough] as trying to find Yavn in VMK is like a moving 'Where's Waldo'.

Baby and Squeakytoy got their hats during Alpha testing, which was only open to Disney employees. Once VMK went into beta, it was opened to the public on a limited basis - at which point the players were all testers. Now that we are out of beta, everyone is pretty much a player (with the exception of the VMK admins).

To be a tester on VMK, you need to be specifically hired by the Disney Company (or the company Disney has subcontracted to) and pretty much be a member of their Quality Assurance group.

In a sense, though, we are all testers becuase we have the ability to report any bugs we see. But those who are have not graduated from college have no chance at becoming an official (i.e., professional) "tester" for Disney. And even with a college degree, getting to that specific position is probably all but impossible.

I'm afraid any thoughts of becoming a tester by simply asking Yavn, or becoming a "cast member" on VMK (as I have also seen it asked) is just the dreams of someone very young who does not know about the business world.
