I have had some serious issues lately with text! I have been using direct copy and paste codes from the wiki because many of my own don't work. So I copy the div text code for color and font. I paste it in the table that I have because of the background. However, when I view my page, I do not see the text. The only way I can see the text is if I take it out of the table and put it under it, which I don't like because it's not where the background is. But even then, the color is black, although with the code I'm using it should be red.

I think I know the problem now is that there is no color and my background is black. So why won't my color work then?
EDIT: Yup, I put the text back in the table, and highlighted my page. It's there all right, but why is there no color?
EDIT: I changed the color using the tool directly in the editor, but if you could let me know why the code's not working and an updated one I'd love it!
