The big drop.. outside? hmm...

I know it's over in 2 seconds.. and you dont feel much till you re-enter the mountain... it might be 80-feet.

it is possable to hit AK and MGM in one day... if you time everything right...It might be alot of walking.. but will be worth it.

(like get a fp for everest then walk to africa for a safari... or get a FP for everest, and a FP for the river rapids.. (Kali river rapids is not on the main FP network i hear.. so it's possable to hold 2 FPs at once. one for Kali and one for everest.. unless it's been reconnected.)

Yes, the drop is at least 80 feet. It may be about 83 or so, but don't quote me on that. Why can you only go to three parks? That sounds a little awkward.

As figmentisback had stated, Animal Kingdom and the Disney/MGM Studios are more half-dayers than whole-dayers. You could do both in the same day.

As for the FASTPASS tickets, you can only get one set per hour and half or so. It depends on how busy they are. Sometimes, you may have to wait until your original ticket expires to get another. Typically, Expedition Everest is more crowded than Kali River Rapids. FASTPASS Everest and Standby Kali.

Not exactly. I'd say Everest is a bit more edgy than California Screamin'. The backwards portion of the ride is pretty intense if you ask me.

Not really.. it has no inversions.. or a powered launch...

Rock 'N Roller Coaster is the closest to Cali Screemin'. it has a LSM launch, loop, and a corkscrew...

Everest is like a suped up Big Thunder mountain... with some Revenge of the Mummy (USH) thrown in...

Next time im in the area... I will try to see which FPs are on the FP network and which are off...
Off the network means it wont detect you already have a ticket for another attraction... but will know if you just got one for that attraction... A good example of this was the Haunted mansion FP... when it for some reason had FP it was off the network because not many people would get a FP for it when they wanted to get one for Pooh or an Thrill ride
Someone reported in a podcast that Kali is frequently off the network...

Ack. Since when did FASTPASS machines get so technically complex. Never heard of this "off the network" thing, but I have noticed that on FASTPASS tickets, the always say "Another FASTPASS ticket will be available after [insert time here]".

When trying to do Disney-MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom on the same day; you have to keep in mind that Animal Kingdom closes early, and the Disney-MGM Studios' shows close early too...

If you want to see the live-shows at Disney-MGM Studios, you really have to go during the day...

As for Fastpass..., Keep in mind that some return times (especially in the BUSY summer months) sometimes ask you to return MUCH L8ER in the day... If you're not going to be spending the entire day at that park, Fastpasses are really rendered useless...

MGM doesn't close early.. MGM has a night time show.. Fantasmic.. sure it might close at 7:00 on some days.. but it needs to be dark enough for Fantasmic...

AK in morning.. then MGM rest of day..

FP got complicated when they added the next FP can be issues at.. lol
before that it was 1.0 network.. which forgot stuff...

2.0 network is what we have now..

(Beta FP was better.. lol.. you could so cheat the system.. if you wanted to which i never did.)

I didn't say the Disney-MGM Studios theme park closed early... I said that the live-action (shows chicken littleman1992 mom loves) closes early... If she wants to see "Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Lights, Motors, Action!, or Indiana Jones" they're going to have to pick and choose between Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios to fill their time during the day...

The 3 rides Disney-MGM Studios has stays open until the park closes...

Edit: Reread statement...

BTW: Haunted Mansion doesn't use FP

Yes it does. The kiosks are under the white cabin just before you enter.

EDIT: Lol, just read your edit :D.

Have a look at this thread:

By the way, there's not a package for 3 theme parks and 1 water park - unless your mom didn't book this trip DIRECTLY through Disney. I still don't understand why you must go to three parks and no more.

What are some mst things to do at magic kingdom and epcot
magic kingdom: Rides: These are my favorite rides to do :D
Space Mountain: So cool! the whole ride is in the dark and you go so fast but it is very fun anyways. Long lines so get FP for it
Big Thunder Mountain: This is one heck of a mine train! you can go in a mine, pass a crystal cave, and even get a tiny bit wet by a waterfall. get FP
Hautned Mansion: This is frightning to some people, its not really intense, but there is some cool parts. The pre-show part is cool to, you can go into a stretching room
Pirates of the carribean: This ride is like so cool! You can see pirates battle and stuff, and its a cool ride
Off course, do the quests for VMK there at the VMK central at Main street :D

Epcot: Rides:
Test track: If you like fast rides, this is one heck of a ride! it goes up to like 65 MPH and its a cool ride.
Spaceship Earth: This is proably boring to some of you, buts its the cool ride in the giant epcot ball
World Showcase: there are different pavillions, and you can visit them and they have like information about the country and stuff.

Well, I think Epcot is pretty boring, but since you say you are going to it, it could be manged in half a day.

I have to just say again...GO see the Lion King (FOLK) at AK. Your mom will love it and so will you!!

It is sad that you can only use three days, but LOOK online and plan now. Find the "MUST SEES" and give yourself time for it. I hope you have fun! We all could give you advice, but it is up to you to make it a magical experience! :)

Good for you... :)

You really need to visit all FOUR Walt Disney World theme parks to have a full and complete Walt Disney World experience...
