Technically those shows aren't yet canceled but.. they almost are

Phil of the Future has quite a fan base; the cries from these groups are enough to get Disney to reconsider. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time if they decided against cancelling.

As for That's So Raven, perhaps he means the new show where Raven goes to college, Raven Too.

People auditions are not open generally to the "General Public" and if you search for High School Musical 2 you will get articles about it. It clearly states that the original cast will be featured as well as some others. Other than that i believe this is a lie, because notice: They have not posted in a while and the only way to fidn out about new movie/show auditions is if they are open to the Public or they have: "Connections"

Where did you hear that? just wondering... Joe. Also many people lie on the internet.Alot of things don't make sense.. I have been in many musicals.. and in a profenssional musical/movie you wait about a month or so before even starting to film! I don't want to be mean. This thread upset many people because they think now that they can't live their dreams and be in HSM3.. Also it was maybe a few months ago when they decided to do a second one? How can they plot everything that fast?

They did only decide to do a sequal a few months ago.. Harry Potter is also based on the book and HSM is not based on a book so they don't really need to re-write anything.. Also even if they did start when you say they did they still to need to edit, and edit, and edit some more! Everything that was said about all these "post-audition" events just don't fit. I don't think it's likely that the "Crackers with Troy" actually happened. Think about it logically. The auditioning process takes a very long time. You don't just get a part for a movie overnight, get a phonecall that says "you got the part!" and expect for the movie to just begin filming. You've got to 1) travel to the filming location 2) sign numerous contracts and waivers (even if you are only an extra) and 3) learn lines and entrances even before filming begins. Bottom line is, filming could not have just began that quickly. There's dances, songs, and lines to learn that could take quite a bit of time to get down. Besides, extras don't really "hang around the set" and "eat crackers with the cast" like you suggest. The whole "Making of HSM2" is taking a lot more time than what you are suggesting it's taking.

She probably is in the Movie but it is very unlikely for a big star to come up and just say can i have some crackers. Especially when it was only the two of them. I am not saying she met him because she probably did. But i doubt the story about the crackers is true.

First, I must say that SuiteStarr and Raderin would make great investigators some day...you both have very good points about this issue.

Here's what I have to say:

Everything that was said about all these "post-audition" events just don't fit. I don't think it's likely that the "Crackers with Troy" actually happened. Think about it logically. The auditioning process takes a very long time. You don't just get a part for a movie overnight, get a phonecall that says "you got the part!" and expect for the movie to just begin filming. You've got to 1) travel to the filming location 2) sign numerous contracts and waivers (even if you are only an extra) and 3) learn lines and entrances even before filming begins. Bottom line is, filming could not have just began that quickly. There's dances, songs, and lines to learn that could take quite a bit of time to get down. Besides, extras don't really "hang around the set" and "eat crackers with the cast" like you suggest. The whole "Making of HSM2" is taking a lot more time than what you are suggesting it's taking.

No one is accusing you of lying Silentkid, but some of the things you said don't add up. You could very well be in HSM2, but maybe you were so excited about it that some "truths" turned out to be "not-so-true" after all.

I agree it is very very rare that a person just gets the part on the set ( there has only been like a couple cases like the e.t. boy) but since hsm was a huge thing i dont think they want to risk that, so therefore i dont think things add up....

WOW a lot of things happened on this thread while I was gone LOL! Took me a while to catch up on things but i'm back people. Thanks for saying that me and Raderin are good investigtors but thats not really what we want to do lol. I got most of my points from things she told me so I give a lot of the credit to her. CL FloridaOranges put up some Very good points! the cracker story probably did not happen. Extras do have to have a little talent at least. Maybe there will be more than one audtion but idk lol. Also they may meet the stars but i doubt they hang out with them on the set and also they probably have not started filming.. 99 percent chance on that actually lol. I still hope we can audtion LOL.

AND after reading many sites telling you that auditions were not until awhile AND that friends tell you that.. What would you think? New Fact!! I found an interview that was a little girl interviewing zac and ashley from HSM and Ashley said that there were around 300 extras in the first one. So we could still have a chance if they have that many again!

Gl, but you most likely won't get a big role because they are keeping the main cast. It was in an exclusive interview with Zac Efron in some magazine, although he said they wouldn't have auditions due to keeping the same cast. So again good luck, but you will probably only be an extra.

A. I DO know how long it takes.. You don't have to be a director to know here is their to-do list before try outs.. (and let me tell you it was like a few months ago when they decided to start)
1.Plot the Story (about a week)
2.Write the story(about a month)
3. Edit (about a week)
4. edit again (half a week)
5. Edit some more.. (half a week)
6. Turn it in..(about another month -sigh-)
7. once it is approoved they need to arrange all the parts needed...ex. Blonde 11 year old girl needed for the part of... yea (about two weeks)
yea and probably things I left out... oh well...
