Hi there,

Thanks for answering our VMK Community Leader application
questionnaire. We've reviewed your answeres and sadly we don't think you are quite
ready yet to
take on the role.

Keep playing and learning - and of course helping others - and try
again in 30 days.

Thanks,

One question -- why 30 days? Why not immediately?

i came up with a theory that they are looking for details. If not that my second theory would be they are looking for short and sweet and to the point

Perhaps someone who applied and was accepted can tell us whether their answers were short & sweet or long & detailed?

I can tell you I gave about two paragraphs for each question. I emphasized every little detail for each answer. I think my advice is look at the questions through a different point of view. My view was a new player asking me these questions, and I explained it in the simplest yet informative way as possible. I gave all my knowledge of the game, in hopes that this new player would understand and enjoy VMK. So basically, I went with the long and detailed path.

Its been three weeks since I sent in the questions and I'm still waiting for a response. All my answers were at least a paragraph, I went into great detail with all of them. I even incorporated the quests into it.

i just turned in my answers yesterday, but mine ended up very detailed. hopefully it is detailed enough!

i have a idea

why dont we start our own community leader force

the vmk help club

we could put in our signature that we are offical members of the vmk help club

that way players can know that we can help them if they need it

its just an idea but it could work

first time i sent out my application i had very long detailed answers, and was not chosen, second time they were a sentance long, and i still did not get chosen, so i have no idea how they are picking the community leaders at this time.

i beleive someone else on the boards did something similar, but many people (including him lol) forgot to attend the first meeting, and after that it sort of vanished... but if another one comes around i would love to join

Does everyone that makes a request to be a Community Leader get an application email? I sent in an essay, and still haven't gotten an email requesting me to fill out any questions. I have had friends that also applied, and have gotten the application within the same hour.

Thanks PixelProphet! :)

I was using an AOL address, which stopped the application from being sent to me. I signed up with Yahoo!, switched everything over, and the application was emailed to me right away.

I just thought of something. It does not matter if you are a Community Leader. You could help people with out CL_. Even though I like the sound of CL_MiniParis, I am not pushing myself to become a Community Leader. Good Luck to you all and try again. I am also applying. Everytime I reply, I get..

You need to play longer!

I have been playing for a while now!
