Chapter 2, Continued

And Yoshi! Our bottom three is Yoshi, Wario, and DK!

The crowd was upset. Most really liked Yoshi, but the other two were where they needed to be.

"Yoshi, I'm happy to say that luckily you have just barely dodged a bullet called 12th place." Bryan Landcrest said. Yoshi sat down, relieved.

That means that are bottom 2 is DK and Wario. The person going home is..... going to be announced after the break!"

"Try Yoshi Brand Milk! It'll have you saying WAHOO!"

- the person with the remote fast forwarded since he had TIVO. -


"Let's go to our judges. Toadsworth, who do you think is going home?"

"Wario." Toadsworth said without thinking about it.
"Wario." King Boo said.

"Hey! No one asked you!" Bryan Landcrest said. "How about you Limon?"

"Defying all odds, DK." the crowd gasped. "REALLY?"
Bowser flipped a little switch on contraption that reversed what the judges and what Bryan Landcrest says.

"Well, defying all odds, DK will get 12th place. DK, you have been eliminated." Donkey Kong wasn't too happy about it.
"TOO easy!" Bowser Jr. whispered into Waluigi's ear.

All the contestants who are still in the competition who aren't named Wario took to the stage and bowed. DK had to leave the set immediately.

"Tune in Windy'sDay for our next singing competition, and on Throw'sDay, you can see which of our Top 11 contestants is eliminated!"

Chapter 3: Tension's Rise, and the baddies are caught.

Now, this story may or may not have been taken, but I'm not trying to copy off of anyone. These are original ideas (accept for the title, lol). Please don't accuse me of copying. Thanks. :)

Chapter 1: Auditions
"Welcome to the Mushroom Kingdom. We hold many competitions and fun activities for citizens and tourists. Among our most famous, is Mushroom Kingdom Idol."
"Mushroom Kingdom Idol works like this; viewers vote for their favorite singers in the Top 12, and the person who can stay in the competition by avoiding the lowest number of votes wins Mushroom Kingdom Idol."
"But it isn't that simple. There are three judges who will pass you throught Auditions to the Top 12. Only the best make it to the Top 12."
"We will show the 12 people's auditions who made it throught to the Top 12. First up is... Bowser Jr.!"
Bowser Jr. walked into the audition room with an evil smile across his face. He knew his song would entertain and impress the three judges, Toadsworth, King Boo, and the toughest of them all, Limon Fowl.
"Hello there judges! I'm gonna sing my favorite song, 'For the Love of Money.' " Bowser Jr.'s song wasn't too difficult to sing, but there were many pitch changes that he nailed pretty good.
"Wow youngster! You blew me away!" Toadsworth said entergetically.
"Is that good?" Bowser Jr. asked nervously.
"Yes! I give you a yes!"
Limon Fowl was next. He was a bit fowl with his words.
"I must say Bowser Jr., for a kid, that was pretty good. But I think we need more... oomph. If you know what I mean." Limon said. Bowser Jr. did give him an evil eye and did get his magic staff out.
"No need for that Jr., 'cause you're through to the next round!" King Boo said. Limon looked at the other two as if they were incredibly stupid.
"YAY! YEAH! WOO HOO! YEAH! YEAH!" Bowser Jr. was saying incredibly fast through the halls of the waiting room.
Next up was Waluigi!
"Good afternoon. I have a good song that you're going to like." Waluigi said. He was going to sing "Wake me up when September Ends" by Green Day.
"No no no!" Toadsworth said. "I'm sorry youngster, but not only is that song completely stupid, but your voice is not what we need. I'm going to have to say no." Waluigi was extremely furious.
"It wasn't good." Limon said. "But it was only slightly enough to make it to the Top 12. You better watch your rear-end up there." Limon cautioned. Waluigi breathed a sigh of relief. He had gotten through the hardest judge, and now his fate was in the hands of King Boo, a rap artist.
"Splendid! I think you are the best so far! You're going to Glitzville for the finals!" King Boo said. Waluigi was extremely happy.
"Oh yeah! Waluigi's, #1!" he cheered down the halls.
Next up is DK!
Donkey Kong was going to sing, "I like big Bananas and I cannot Lie!" by Banana Lova.
After Donkey Kong sang his song, he got his reviews.
"For an ape, not bad, but what we want in the finals is 'Talent.' I'm sorry, but I must say no." Limon Fowl said.
"It didn't work for me either. But I am going to say 'Yes' only because you did keep up with the fast rythym of the song. That song may sound simple to sing, but its quick. And you did do Okay I guess." Toadsworth said. King Boo, once again had to make the final decision.
"DK, if I may call you that, you didn't do great. You did good. But to get through auditions, you must be good. So yes. But you better practice or you'll die in the Top 12." DK went on a rampage through the building even when King Boo had only managed to say yes.
The next contestant to make it through was Luigi, who came in with his Polterguist 3000 just in case King Boo made any funny business.
His song choice was "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter. His voice was really good. Even Limon would agree with that.
King Boo went first. "Well, arch-enemy, when I saw your application I thought you'd stink. But I can't give you a 'no' just becuase I don't like you as a person, so I'll have to say yes. And I'm not happy about it either." Luigi ignored this rude comment and looked at Limon as though he expected him to say something next.
"Luigi, I don't know what Boo Bottom is talking about, you're very likable. And your good, which will both put you through to the next round." Limon Fowl said. Luigi beamed.
"If you care, I would've said yes too!" Toadsworth told him. Luigi jumped with joy. He was one of the five to get a perfect Three Yes's from the judges. And probably one of the most deserving of the title.
Next was Wario, who had brought a very peculiar object in with him to his auditions.
After reciving three "no's" and some brutal comments from Wario's song, "Honkey Tonk Badonkatonk (sp?)", Wario clicked the button on the object he brought in the room. It reversed everything that the judges said.
"Could you please repeat that?" he asked.
"YES!" all three shouted. Wario didn't have anything to worry about. He would be in the Top 12 no matter what. He left the room with a Golden Ticket, and was the second contestant to recieve three yes's.
Next up was Toad.
Toad sang "You Raise Me Up."
"I really do hate that song." Limon began. "But we are supposed to judge you on how you sing, not what you sing. No." Limon said. Toad didn't seem to happy about that.
"I like your style dude. Soul songs. Not to me many guys can do those kinda songs. I compliment you. Yes." King Boo said.
"Yes, one of my favorites. You always were a good singer Toad. I am going to advance you to the Top 12." Toadsworth said with a smile on his face. Limon was really getting frusturated with the other two judges always overrulling him. "You two wait. I'll bet almost all of your favorites are voted out first."
Next was Daisy with he song, "Everytime we Touch" by Cascada.
"Well done ma'am. I do say, however, that that song was a little overpowered for you. But you proved be wrong. I'm going to say yes." King Boo.
"No, and I'll leave you with that." Limon Fowl said.
"Oh come on Limon! Do have a heart. 'Cause everytime you sing, I get this feeling, that I need to move you to the next round!' " Toadsworth said. Limon Fowl was really getting frusturated.
Next was Toadette, with "(you know who) Take the Wheel" by Carrie Underwood.
"Toadette, that was marvelous. Yes." Limon said.
"Splendid Toadette! I think you're great too!" Toadsworth.
"In case you cared, I would've said yes too." King Boo said quietly.
Next is Yoshi!
Yoshi sang "I Like Big Fruit and I Cannot Lie" similar to the remix by Banana Lova, but this one was by Food Lova.
"What's up with all of these, "I like Big Something another" songs? Well Yoshi, that was, interesting... But it was good. You followed all the vocals, and that's what matters. Yes!" Toadsworth said.
"I agree with Grandpa over here. You are in Glitzville!" King Boo said. Limon, however, disagreed, but Yoshi had still advanced on to round 2!
Next is Mario, with Nickelback's Photograph.
"Mario, are you going to be the Bo Bice or the Chris Daughtry of the year? If so, you'd make a good one. Yes!" King Boo said, smiling.
"Well Mario, I can't argue with Boo Bottom. That was awfully good." Limon Fowl said. Toadsworth had made the comment of make that a third yes from me. Mario was really happy.
The competition was heating up, and there were only two spots left in the Top 12! But we will reveal the 11th to audition and make it... Princess Peach!
She had chosen the song Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson. It was challenging, but Peach was the fifth and second to final Top 12 candidate.
"Yes!" King Boo said.
"Yes!" Toadsworth said.
"Yes, and that's all she wrote." Limon said.
With one spot remaining, things were getting extremely nerve racking. But our last contestant sang the Queen song, "We will Rock You" and of course, only got two yes's. This contsetant is.............................. BOWSER!
"Now, Mushroom Kingdom, are you ready for Chapter 2?

Chapter 2: The First Contestant is Booted
"Mushroom Kingdom, these people are your Top 12!" the announcer, Bryan Landcrest announced. "Luigi Mario Mario! Mario Mario Mario! Princess Peach Toadstool! Princess Daisy! Toad! Toadette! Bowser Jr.! Wario! Waluigi! Bowser! Yoshi! Donkey Kong!" Bryan announced. The audience went wild.
"To start off the show, we have Luigi!" the crowd went bananas!
Luigi came on stage, and he announced his song. "I will be singing, 'Live like you were Dying' by Tim McGraw." Luigi wasn't the one for country, but with his stunning performance with "Bad Day" the judges were pretty sure that Luigi could handle a lot of things. Yes, this week was country week, or mellow rock, which are close to the same thing.
"Well Luigi, that was unarguably a wonderful way to start off the show. Splendid job!" King Boo, the judge to represent Randy Jackson said.
"Oh my heavens! How did you hold that note so long? If we had grading panels, you'd definietly get a 10\10!" Toadsworth said with a smile.
"Yes Luigi, I cannot argue with my colleagues. I couldn't if I wanted to. But may I make one suggestion? When you're going on a high note like that, try to keep your voice as low as possible. But other than that, splendid!" Limon Fowl suggested.
"If you wanna vote for Luigi, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah....." "Next up is Mario! You could guess he was going to sing a mellow rock song.
"I will be singing 'The Firin' Side' by Bob Seger." Mario wasn't capable of pulling offf much more than rock, but in the beginning, he would have to stick with rock songs, and finish off with some weak point songs.
"Well Mario, that is a really good song, and I think you did great!" King Boo said.
"Ditto! Mario, you're just a really powerful rocker." Toadsworth said.
"Mario, I actually liked your audition voice more than this, but you did do awfully good. Keep working on it, and you'll go places." Limon Fowl suggested.
After Mario's phone line number was announced, the third to perform, Princess Peach took to the stage. She was singing, "I Hope You Dance". See how she did by looking at the reviews.
"It was good, there were one or two pitch problems, but everybody gets nervous on their first time in Glitzville in front of all these people.


Whoah! That is awesome! You made me laugh three times in front of my screen. "I like big bananas and I cannot lie", "Limon Fowl"!!
