I think this recent dictionary change is, for the most part, a good one. Disney should not be encouraging children to spell poorly. "You're" is a word. "Ur" is not.

They have taken way more words out than we think. I (being a frequent user of pointless words. ^.^) have discovered that they have taken every word ending in "-ness". (Examples are Coolness, Extraordinariness, Awesomeness, ect...).

This makes me sad because I used Extraordinariness ('cause it was the longest allowed word in VMK) and Coolness (just 'cause it sounds kewl) a lot. :(

And now that they added School and names (like Brad, Troy, ect...), there is going to be a lot more bans due to exchanging personal info. And it could be very specific personal info, too. (example is someone saying "Hi! My name is Chad, and I go to Brown Middle School!")

As I was saying to others in VMK yesterday. Now that we have the baseball room, cheerleaders and the new high school musical room(and new allowed words), people will start "schools" in VMK and now people will be saying "I am in High School" meaning a vmk school, however staff may punish for it.

I really have to wonder if they WANT to start banning more or if they are prepared to except what is most likely going to happen.

Well, I think that VMK is not really helping on the not sharing personal information by letting us say school. I see people now going, I am in High School. Actually, I've found a vast majority of the VMKF community to be quite mature in expressing their thoughts in the forums. My comment about children being immature was a direct response to the posts before it, about people in VMK talking about "getting high," and was, as I said, meant as a joke.

The word "immature" means "not adult." So children are, by definition, immature. This is not a bad thing, and I did not mean to insult or offend anybody. I love children! If we weren't forbidden to give out personal information (a rule with which I whole-heartedly agree), I would be happy to share with you pictures of my family.

I, myself, am not a child, yet, as my screen name implies, I enjoy acting "immature" at times. This would be more of an insult to me than to any actual children, except that I choose not to take it that way. ;)

Along with what rumonant said, I have been to various rooms, such as cafes, where people are getting so called "high" and are saying, "-flashes-" and its really getting out of hand.

Yea, i kinda agree with that.
But it might lead someone to try it in real, or influence other kids to start talking about, and even things i talk (and other ppl talk about) about follow what i say and do in real( in some ways ).
I guess its fine for them to learn right from wrong, but still, other kids will follow on to it, and not all of them are as old as others (meaning some are like teenagers).
But VMK is being dumb with this whole word change thing.

to the dictionary, they had to take something out to replace it.

I was fixing my signature, and I came across a neat discovery!
I already knew "drama" wasn't in the dictionary, but I tried it anyway.

It blinked in red, but Drama came up in the signature.

Just wanted to let you know that "Drama" is in the dictionary.
