holy smokes mario is a twin with luigi sweet! i can tell that mario eats to much sweets and gets fat while luigi wears a different uniform and stays more healthy

Uh... I've played that game and it doesn't mean a thing. The stork could of waited for Luigi to be born so he could deliver them at the same time. Tons of possibilities. Even Nintendo it self says Luigi is the younger brother and Mario older! @_@

they're brothers who just happened to be brought by the stork the same exact day. What i'm mad about is all yoshi ever says now is "Yoshi!". SMW1 he could talk easily and perfectly, not just say yoshi!

My nephew (who loves mario and all others who which indeed got me into the game, movies and all.....) Said They are indeed brothers yea Twins but it seems that mario might be a little bit older by like minutes and all.....idk that's what he said..

That mainly states Mario is older because Mario was first to enter to video games. Luigi came soon after.

You are right, in the original game Yoshi's Island (which is very old) they are mentioned to be twins, but in the instruction booklet of Super Mario World it says that Luigi is Mario's younger brother even though he is taller. It is two different concepts, mand Nintendo probably forgot about Mario and Luigi being twins, just like Sega forgetting all about Sonic being a Prince and having two syblings (If you dont believe this click here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonic_Underground )

There are fraternal twins that don't look alike.

Hmm........... Ponderings Fun! Well i always thought there where four brothers Luigi, Wario, Mario, And waluigi Luigi and Mario came first of course then Wario and Finally Waluigi Now, Sometimes i think only Luigi and Mario are brothers but then Waluigi is Luigis brother and .... AH MY BRAIN HURTS

Hmm, I posted most of the information I know. There's another story to how Mario got made, but the one I posted had more information.

It may state they were twins, but trust me, they've never been.

Even if they were the same height in Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time, they still weren't twins.

I know this sounds dumb, but technically since Mario was created first he is older. And Luigi came like 4/3 years later.
