Does anyone know what all retired items have been rumored to be returning....I have heard that the Tomorrowland 8/9 pin and HM quest items are coming back. Are there any others or can anyone confirm these?

Hm quest is for parks, its not going to be a buyable..

Haunted Mansion Stuff: Yes its coming back, but not in shops. They are opening the Haunted Mansion Quest again.

This is definately not true. People have asked staff numorous times and every time they said "I seriously doubt it". Like the Tomorrowland 8/9 Pin, people are just saying that so they can get it for a lower price.

If they did that... staff may change they're costumes. The pretty much won't change it. Green Flips will PROBABLY stay beta and staff costumes. But I HIGHLY DOUBT it will come back out.

I've been trying to trade two Tomorrowland 8/9 pins for a single Inferno pin in the trade forums. I think it's a good deal, but nobody's taking me up on it. :(

As for the HM Items, they are coming back because of the quest opening up again. They aren't going to be sold.

They are going to bring back the HM Quest but may not release the same HM items because half the prizes are now buyable and the questions will have to be changed since they have changed the ride. The whole bride's attic is completely different now.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The original Mansion and Pirates Quests will probably remain "retired" forever.

The cowboy items will probably be back at some point. There's no real reason not to rerelease them.

They may be more expensive the next time around, of course....

It's interesting that the Frontierland shop sells posters and furniture with targets on them, yet we have no way at shooting at the targets. Will there be a shooting gallery game at some point?

We now VMK has nothing against firearms. The Pirates game is all about shooting.

We have all the other materials with which to make a shooting gallery game, including even a guest room. We just don't have the guns.

I would like to see more character-themed costumes come out, rather than profession type costumes...maybe recognizable princess dresses perhaps? There IS a Snow White haircut..

Not guns you could carry around. Guns which would be furniture to complete the shooting gallery game. They do already sell cannons as furniture.

They already have us shooting at other people in the Pirates game. I'm only suggesting we be allowed to shoot at the targets we've been able to purchase and place in the shooting gallery guest room.

Character costumes is a great idea. In addition to the upcoming Davy Jones and Captain Jack Sparrow costumes (and the High School Musical character outfits), I would like to see specific princess dresses (characters, not just colors) and Buzz Lightyear, Woody/Jesse (different from the existing cowboy outfits), the Beast, and Davy Crockett costumes.

Also, a Hollywood Tower Hotel bellhop costume would be great!

I heard a prize will be the brown HM Suit but this is not confirmed.

I think guns are a little too extreme. With Pirates, Disney uses this "violence" in their attractions, and in no way are they promoting violence. Cannons and other weapons are fun, but don't have the impact and reality that guns carry within our society. I think it is a good move by keeping guns out of VMK.

Again, I'm not talking about guns for the characters to wear and carry. I'm talking about furniture for the shooting gallery. Disney has a shooting gallery attraction in the real Frontierland, and that (along with the pirate cannons) is precedent for having a virtual shooting gallery in VMK.

what are u talking about HM changed?!?!?! is there 1 in DLR cause i just went to the 1 in WDW and nothing has changed..................

Yes, the Imagineers recently made significant changes to the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland. I believe there's a thread in the off-topic section detailing the changes, but I'm not going to look for it and link to it, because I'm tired.

there is NO way the brown HM suit could be a quest reward. NO way. it should be a halloween costume.

i dont think vmk is likely to come out with anything other than cannons in any case, look at the thread below this one, they took the guns out of the explorer suitcases and they were furniture.

Then why give us a "shooting gallery" guest room and so many targets?

the shooting gallery room and things are all very old westy

im not syaing im agaist the target game im vmk, just that its not likely.
