Dear Diary, June 1st 9:00 Pm
My life from now on, is ruined. Why? I had detention for accidently being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I can explain from the time of 1:00 pm, today. When, lunch was just over;
I had just finished taking a sip from the water-fountain. And, Selena was reading the Newsletter, that was just printed out, a couple hours ago.
"Jacq, look at this. You're in the news!" She shouted.
I streched my neck, to look at the article, "Why?" I asked.
She looked at me with disbelief, "Says here, you're the captain of the Math-League"
My eyeballs must have looked as if they were going to pop out. Being on the Math-League is like, going on the, "I'm A Baby Parade". In seventh grade, its all about being popular. And, math-league captain is not popular.
"I didn't sign up for that!"
"You didn't? Well, you're gonna have to go to the Computer Lab, and talk to Mr. Wineston" She chuckled.
"Fine" I mumbled, as I walked toward the room.
Mr. Wineston looked up from reading the newsletter.
"Mr. Wineston, I was never on the Math-League. I have the smarts to be on it, but I never signed up!"
"What, are you talking about Jacquline?"
"You wrote an article about me being on the team!"
"Here" He said, as he bent over, and handed me the newsletter.
At that moment, I knew I had been tricked. I threw the newsletter up in the air, and went charging for Selena.
My face was burning red,"Selena, you traitor! You tricked me!"
She thought I was joking, and laughed, once more.
I totally blew up. I was ready to tear her hair out. Not, only did the teacher think I was crazy, but my Best friend totally turned on me.
I jumped at her, but, landed on Mrs. Hinsvark. The guidance counselor.
That was then.. This is now. I'm grounded for two days. Which, is fine. But, I can't believe it. I think, I'm going to check my emails for a little-while.

Title: Detention..
Hey Jac. Heard, about your detention. What's up with that. Somebody said you tackled the Hins! Are you trying a new way, to change your reputation. Do you, want the award, "Most Detentions" instead, of "Best Attendance"!

Title: Re: Detention..
Sally, it was totally Selena's fault! She decided to trick me, so badly! I, had to get back at her. So, I totally was ready to attack. As soon, as I jumped up, the Hins, was on the corner. Salena dodged my attack, and Hins was right there. So, Hins was destined to be tackled.
I locked myself in my room. Never coming out. This is my only way to civilization. Since, the windows are closed, and my phone is cut off.

Dear Diary, Still June1st 10:00 pm
Sally thinks I purposly got myself in trouble. I think she and Salena planned that goofy trick. Well.. Salena has it coming. I'm never gonna talk to her again. And, she'll see if Chris Peterson is my friend. (Chris Peterson is her enemy. He is the biggest trickster in the school, and he'll help me, since we were kinda friends last year)
Got to go.. Lights out time. Ever since the detention, I have a Lights Out, time.
Jacquline woke up, with drowesy eyes. She lifted her pillow from over her head, and walked over, to find her brush.
"All the time.. Busy Busy Busy. That's why you're in trouble. Jacie, why don't you ever play with me?" Sammy whined, as she swung on the door.
Jacquline turned to see her, opening and closing her mouth.
"I'm just really busy" She mumbled, as she pulled on the barret.
Sammy turned her eyes toward the diary, "Can I read, it?"
Sammy had just learned to read, and wanted to read EVERYTHING
"No.. Its Private. Speaking of privacy, can't a 13 year old get some, in this house?"
Sammy, slouched, and walked out of the room.
As soon as Sammy left, Jacquline, went to her diary, to write a new entry.

Sammy tried her best to read the diary.. Just woke, up, and getting ready to eat some breakfast. Can Write Later.
Dear Diary, Still the 2nd. 12:00 pm.
Dad totally thinks I'm trying to avoid the truth. He thinks, I'm going to go into this long depression. And, never talk to family any more. The truth is, I'm going to changes. Changes, Dad doesn't understand because he isn't a 13 year old girl. I now have to deal with teachers her breathe down my neck, and friends who expect me to jump of a bridge for them. So.. I decided to do a little yoga trick, and count to 10 backwards. Maybe, I'll go back to my regular, normal, peppy self.

Dear Diary, Still the 2nd. 12:10 pm.
It didn't work. I'm still depressed, and I found out, that my Dad is about to go on a business trip for today, and next week. I'll have my freedoms back!
If you want to know what happened with dad and I, just listen to this funny little story:
I went down to the living room, and tried out some yoga techniques. But, as I was, I was ease dropping on Dad, when he was talking on the phone.
"No... But, I'm going on a trip today, so I'll see you soon. Can't wait. This is a great opportunity to see you again, and get the load on about business in Colorado. See you soon." He whispered, quietly.
I could hear someone responding, but couldn't make seem to find who. It was a woman's voice.
I, being the greatest ease-dropper in the world, snuck over towards Dad, and interrogated him.
"Dad.. Where'ya going?"
He, was packing his suit case, "Colorado Business trip" he grinned.
"Well.. If that means trip, then I'll be watching Derek and Sammy, for a week. Does that mean my freedoms are back?"
"Yup.. And, by then I'll forget all about your detention."
Then he added: "You should hope I do." after he saw I didn't respond.
I changed the subject quickly, "Who was that woman on the phone?"
"Lesile," He paused, "The woman from Colorado. You heard me talking about her with Mrs.Whitestone."
One of my other ease-dropping cases.
Right just then, Sammy dropped something, and it broke. So, Dad left to investigate.
I'm off the hook, for a few weeks. Wish me luck, Diary!
Dear Diary, June 23, 1:00 pm
I'm in so much trouble. Derek just left, and he's not supposed to leave, the house. He's only 8 years old! Sammy, is jumping up and down on the couch, and she threatened to cut her hair off, if I didn't give her ice cream.
So, I calmly took a seat at the computer and read some e-mails.
Then, I had this sudden jolst of energy to look at Dad's e-mails, so I did. Dad, was e-mailing my guidance counselor! Turns out, she's been spying on me! She knows, I went to the arcade, and she probably knows what's going on now!

Title: Afternoon Data
Dear Mr.Hunt,
Today, I seemed to see Jacquline go out, to the arcade. I thought you told me she was grounded. I saw her brother go out, ten minutes before her. I didn't know you allowed 8 year olds run wild. Now, I'm certain you will take this into action, right away. Can't have my students running wild, can I?
Thank you,
Mrs. Hinsvark.
Ps. I'm sending over, my famous cassarole. Your children will love it!
Dear Diary, Still 23 5:00 pm
Mrs Hinsvark came over; This was our day;
Derek had come back, with a coloring book and crayons, and decided to draw on my bookbag. I didn't really care, because, my book bag was ugly any way.
As soon, as I began to relax, Hinsvark came over, with her casarole.
"Hi Jacquline.. Where's your father?" She said, as she streched her neck, to see behind me.
"He had to go on a business trip.." I said, as something crashed to the floor.
She looked like she was itching to come in, "Can I come in?"
I opened my eyes wide, "Its bath time.. Sorry. So I'll just take that"
Sammy jumped up to look at us, "Hi Hi! Mrs. What's your face, did you come with your nasty food, to see if we have blown up the house?"
No 5 year old was going to ruin my life.
"She's just kidding.." I chuckled. It was a fake chuckle.
