We are making enhancements to the code redemption system. Players wishing to enter a code may experience difficulty from time to time. But never fear! We are working hard to complete the enhancements. Look for updates to the code system soon. We'll post new information in this space so check back often. Thank you for your patience while we fine tune VMK!

I started getting that yesterday too. Guess they are going to try some way to crack down on code sharers or something.
I don't think so. They're probabally fixing the code box so it will allow people to put in codes. I remember that when I tried to type in the DA code the first time, it rejected it saying it wasn't a valid code. It worked the second time, but perhaps it's not working for everyone.

W00t! 100th post! Wonder if I'll ever make it to 200... :)
I'd agree with Whar that VMK doesn't appear concerned about cracking down on the sharing of certain codes (really, the only way I can think of cracking down on a publicly-posted code like the first magazine code would be to make you enter your subscription information or to log your IP address and only allow one code use per computer, neither which seem likely). However, my theory on this update is that they are implementing a way to only allow certain codes to be entered by one person, one time.
Currently, input into the code entry box probably gets compared against a list of valid codes; if it finds a match, it triggers the action associated with the code...otherwise you get the invalid code message. My thinking is that in addition to the first code check, they are creating a second check where it registers the use of certain codes and prohibits anyone else from entering a code on that list. This wouldn't have been an issue when VMK Beta first launched since the only code was a public code. However, now that the in-park quests & codes on sales of in-park merchandise have launched, additional code logic is required.
Of course, this could all be complete nonsense...maybe they are just fixing some other routine bug that popped up!
