Kinda old news, don't you think? Pullipgurl12 05-10-2006, 03:24 AM still thats wicked! http://userbarmaker.com/temp_userbars_shack/291147048513.png (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/userpage.php?userid=2303/) keola123456 05-10-2006, 04:03 AM are you sure this is accurate because sometimes people can make up stuff and say it is true CaptainZeke 05-10-2006, 04:12 AM Well, erm... Wasn't it obvious from the start? I mean, if they start on one book, aren't they going to complete the series? I knew this right as the first teaser came out. Seven movies, I thought. Well, looks like it's true, doesn't it? TheCoasterNut 05-10-2006, 04:40 PM The next movie is currently set for a December 14, 2007 release. And try not to tripple post next time Salgal Want to see for yourself? Check out http://www.infocusmag.com it is the movie industry magazine, if you click on the release calander link from the homepage, and go all the way down, you will find it. In unrealated news it looks as if NEXT May is going to be another awesome month for movies, with Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, and POTC 3 all coming out in the same month. Super sam aka Charlie 05-10-2006, 05:00 PM Well, erm... Wasn't it obvious from the start? I mean, if they start on one book, aren't they going to complete the series? I knew this right as the first teaser came out. Seven movies, I thought. Well, looks like it's true, doesn't it? no because there are7 books altogether and it will of made more sence starting from book one wich is: The Magician's Nephew i just feal sorry for all my friends who went to see it without reading the book and did not know what the flippins was going on well thats disney i supose, the true chronles of narnia go as follows: 1) The Magician's Nephew 2) The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe 3) The Horse and His Boy 4) Prince Caspian 5) The Voyage of the Dawn Treader 6)The Silver Chair <----(I am curenty on this book) 7)The Last Battle written by C.S.LEWIS btw narnia is not written by disney. TheCoasterNut 05-10-2006, 05:31 PM Yes that is the format for the books, but each book revolves around different central characters. Right now there are only plans for the ones that star; Edmund, Lucy, Peter, and Susan as the main characters. However, there may be plans down the road to make a Magician's Nephew movie as to explain the origins of Narnia, the talking beasts, and how Jadis (the white witch) came into Narnia. AFTER?!?!?! now that will be stilly i think its to late for that HelloPanda 05-10-2006, 05:37 PM Cool, can't wait ^_^ PhilPlumpton 05-10-2006, 09:04 PM Actually thats not the order the books were written in. It's a known fact. The Magician's Nephew was one of the last books Lewis wrote. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe was indeed the first of the books to be written and is by far the most popular. Prince Caspian followed, then Dawn Treader, Silver Chair, Horse and His Boy after, Magician's Nephew and finally The Last Battle. That is the correct order of publication. And all seven films have been greenlighted, so I don't know what you guys are talking about. The only reason why they are doing films involving the characters from the first movie now is because they want to use the same actors, who as you should know, are all still young. You don't want a 19 year old Georgie Henley playing 12 year old Lucy! Oh and CoasterNut, its Jadis, not Jaris. gellypoo93 05-10-2006, 09:06 PM on mikes super short show the dude said make up artist : u look just like the faun can we use u on our next movie mike : sure i am always able for u guys and i was like a next movie hmm interesting LOL ronak 05-10-2006, 09:29 PM Uhh...The wardrobe book is the 2nd, and Caspian is the 4th. The ring book (forgot the name) is 1st and the Horsen and His boy is 3rd. Wonder why they are skipping all this O_o Skaterooni 05-10-2006, 09:31 PM I kinda already made a thread on this.. but its like 2 months old because no one posted in it.. use the search button next time please. MagicalGlow 05-10-2006, 09:34 PM That's soo cool!! YAY!!! MissPorscha 05-10-2006, 09:36 PM they ever going to do it on the first book The Magician's Son ( i think thats the title ) TheCoasterNut 05-10-2006, 09:46 PM Thanks for the info PhilPlumpton, its been a while since I read the books. PhilPlumpton 05-10-2006, 11:45 PM Sure thing :). Ronak, I just explained why in my last post. Read it and you'll find your answer. Super sam aka Charlie 05-11-2006, 07:25 PM Actually thats not the order the books were written in. It's a known fact. The Magician's Nephew was one of the last books Lewis wrote. Oh and CoasterNut, its Jadis, not Jaris. you got i wrong boy wrong!!!! i have the hole se sitting next to me and with the list in order!!!!!! so pleasew dont teel me i am wrong, and why will the white with come back from the dead???? i can prove it also i did a litle look on the computer + its the order that he thort will be best suted PhilPlumpton 05-11-2006, 08:29 PM Okay you keep reading that "hole se" of books next to you. If you would, re-read my post. I told you the order in which they were written was what I listed. If you didn't see that, maybe you should read it again. Presuming you have a normal set of the seven books, why don't you check up on the original publication dates while your trying to prove me wrong: -The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe- Originally Published 1950 -Prince Caspian- Originally Published 1951 -The Voyage of the Dawn Treader- Originally Published 1952 -The Silver Chair- Originally Published 1953 -The Horse and His Boy- Originally Published 1954 -The Magician's Nephew- Originally Published 1955 -The Last Battle- Originally Published 1956 Look it up if you don't believe me. Also nobody ever said Jadis would come back from the dead. She never died in The Magician's Nephew so she didn't "come back from the dead" as you claim. The order your said is the chronological order in terms of the books, not in terms of publication. Sure most people read them in that order because that is how they are numbered today. The Magician's Nephew was a PREQUEL, which is the installment that takes before all the others. Publication went in the way I stated above. There is another thread in "Disney Gossip" and a plethora of websites that can prove this publication order, so don't tell me I'm wrong, because I'm right. Regardless. TheCoasterNut 05-11-2006, 09:40 PM The books were originaly published in a different order than they are now. They were also published in different orders depending on the publisher. For example at my grandma's house they have a very old set that goes in order of when they were published. However I own a newer set where the Magician's Nephew is the first book. Leenakit 05-11-2006, 11:37 PM I read all the books like three times and i want to watch all the movies the first one was so awesome i cant wait for the other movies ^^ Super sam aka Charlie 05-12-2006, 04:30 PM The books were originaly published in a different order than they are now. Whether you believe me or not, I'm correct in what I said. And that's it. I don't want to turn this into a fight. So I rest my case.
