In China, they do have baseball teams.
If Australia, they have a little game called Cricket.. Its just, like Baseball.
In England, they have Cricket too. So, really Baseball is a sport, many should know about.
Also, Baseball isn't my fave sport, but its still cool to have something other than, making cafes, to do.

Yeah, I agree with you. Seeing as this is the perfect time for the Baseball outfit to come out...by the way, that's such a cute room ^-^! I'm in line now.

I live in Canada, and used to play baseball. True that some places wouldn't know as much about it, that it isn't so big as in the US, and not everyone loves the sport, but maybe it ties into the summer - possibly more summer related host games coming out =O.

I predict that this month it's not JUST baseball month, but probably Sports Month and there will probably be more sport related rooms than just the Ball Park!

I hope your right Jimothy because I cant help but feel that some people may feel left out. But I personally think that maybe this shouldve been in June with the Football/Soccer World Cup.

Actually it looks to me like VMK may be creating "Walt Disney World Resort" rooms. First we had Animal Kingdom Lodge. With the oversize sports icons in the background, my guess is this one represents the "All Star Sports".

Uh.. Disney has lots to do with sports and baseball. Ever heard of the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex, or the Disney All Star resorts.

Cricket and Baseball, are not similar at all.

2) WDW is home to Atlanta Braves Spring Training
3) WDW also has a hotel--All Star Sports (maybe--don't remember the exact name of it).
4) There is a sports related place to eat on main street and a sports shop.

So, as you see, Disney does have interest in sports such as baseball. I think it's great! And, I would predict that we will see other sports rooms out as the sports seasons move on. Hooray to VMK for all of the 'fan'tastic new things! Woot!

Players spin the board and it actually says the words like "Double", "Strike", etc. While I was in there with others, Hula told us that the plates, benches, and scoreboard are all furniture and not a permanent part of the room.

All in all, can't wait for it to come out! :D

Wow not part of the room @_@. That is cool kinda because now you can customize any room that you desire.

Well i know im getting the hat and shoes of the new outfit but i might just get the top and pants to trade or somthing........i really like the new room! now ppl can make a Baseball game in rooms but........what do this all have to do with VMK and Disney?

For those who would like to know, the gold lettering in the back titles VMK World of Sports, so I'm inclined to think there may be other sporting rooms released.

As for it having something to do with Disney, of course it does. Ever watch Air Bud Seventh Inning Fetch? Or Goofy teaching how to play baseball in the a cartoon movie Extreme Sports Fun, you know, the one when Mickey golfs.

Disney used to own sports teams (Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and Anaheim Angels)
Disney owns ESPN (with that the ESPN Zones that someone else mentioned)


Baseball is an American creation just as much as Disney and apple pie. The connection is loose, but its still there. What do Christmas trees and heart chairs have to do with Disney?

I didnt know that Disney had anything to do with sports. Sorry. I was thinking of more typicla sports, and to answer ace's question no I have never heard of those things. I think some people may not know about baseball so therefore get left out. I myself only know some basic rules on it, if that.

i think it has a lot to do with disney as to me it looks a lot like the all star sports hotel at WDW. it looks as though the dividers are there to block out the ALL STAR SPORTS text around it.

Actually, May is international sports month ( in real life ). So my guess is VMK is going to release many more sports gear and rooms.
