Yapperh, Wiki is like an online encyclopedia, with everything, like VMK, Toontown, disney, ect just random stuff.

Apparently it uses a combination of both something called wikicode (suppoesed to be easy but the few examples I got.. I like html better) and html.
So whats wikicode and can you provide some basic tags, and can we just use html for it?

Okay, here's the steps to editing.

1. E-mail (not PM) Nick for a wiki username. If you were accepted, you'll get a reply with your Username and Password.

2. Go to www.disneysonlineworlds.com .

3. Log in.

4. Go to the article you want to edit.

5. Click the "edit" tab at the top of the article.

6. Edit it like you would edit a post.

Oh I know that much but I meant like I know there are special codes that are very confusing. I just wanted to know if we could just use html or if someone could provide me with basic wikicodes (ie images, bold text, etc.)

Like I said, edit it like you would edit a post (in advanced mode). I guess I should have mentioned that... Anywho, these are some of the codes...

To make the letter big or slanting, highlight the text and click the B or I.

To show an image:

[[Image:filename.filetype|center]]

there's also |right, |left, |thumb (for thumbnail), and if you have |thum, there's |put the thumbnail text here.

EXAMPLE: [[Image:spotlight.jpg|thumb|right| Click to enlarge]]

Now, I must make this very clear: You MUST put the file name/type in the script that matches the one on your computer, because you're going to upload it. Save the changes to your page, and there should be some weird code in blue. Click it, click "upload", and if you use imageshack, you should know about the rest. If you don't, click "browse", click the image you want, and click "upload".

To create bullets/boxes, just put either a * or a space by the beginning of the line.

I've never edited a wiki so I didn't know how it works. Thanks though if/when I am accepted I can do this then.

It automatically fills in the wiki-code for you in advanced mode.

The wiki is short for Wikipedia. Members of the wikipedia can add information, and make it bigger. You can check Disney's Online Worlds Wikipedia for information on Toontown, VMK, and other online games.
