It should be open. . . they are "upgrading" the ride right now, and it won't need to be closed for any major maintanence for a few more years. Plus December is really busy and Pirates really draws in the crowds so there is no reason for it to be closed.

-PS I have CM connections within the facilities dept. (This person is responsible for scheduling ride downtimes)
