Poems to me are awesome, since you can express feelings in the form of a story, although it's not 10 pages long;same thing with songs.Here's a peom that can be turned into a song and vice versa:


Dreams

It was just a dream, I know that now,
But was it trying to tell me something how?
Was that the way it was supposed to be?
You and me?
It's what all my friends have said,
And so I'm laying here in bed,
Working this out,
Finding a way,
To try and last...Another Day.

Real life; reality,
It's just not a thing that's really cut out for me.
Right is wrong, wrong is right,
Every disagreement turns into a fight.
Can't stand this world, got to get out somehow;
Life is a play and I'm taking my bow,
Decided to take my bow right now.

What's done is done, nothing can be said,
And so as usual I'm lying here in bed,
An escape from the outside world,
My own little fantasy,
But, if this was true,
Why is the thought of you still haunting me?
It was just a dream, I know that now,
But was it trying to tell me something how?

Here is this poem I wrote about Sleep...

I loved to sleep
I loved nothing but sleep
I slept through floods,fires, and hurricanes
The only friend I ever had was my mattress

I loved to sleep
But I refused to listen to my conscience telling me "Stop sleeping!"
I abused sleep and sleep was taking its revenge
But I was too naive to listen

I loved to sleep
Finally, when I least expected it
Sleep had its revenge
One day, I never woke up.

I Made Up a Poem! :)

If every tear i cried was how much i loved you, we would have rain storms baby.

And i found these poems..

I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed it away. I wrote your name on my hand but I washed it the next day. I wrote your name on a piece of paper but I acciedenatally threw it away... I wrote your name in my heart and forever it will stay!

I asked you if I was pretty, you said no.
I asked you if I was fat, you said yes of course.
I asked you if you wanted to be with me forever, you said no.
I asked you if you would cry if I walked away, you said no.
I had heard too much, and need to leave and
as I walked away..
You grabbed my arm and told me to stay.
You said...
Your not pretty, your beautiful.
The only thing fat, or big, about you is your heart.
I don't want to be with you forever, I need to be with you forever.
And, baby, I wouldn't cry if you walked away...
I would die.

The Living Sign
Looking around
Trying to find that simple sign
But, nothing happening
Looking up
Finding, all the colors of the sunset
Tears roll down
Continuing to look
You see what you couldn't see before

And now, they left
left you, as you disbelieved
And, you never behaved
But, never will you find yourself
if you act the way you weren't taught
You, fight and curse
And yell and screech
Never caring about others
Until, the others leave
