Rumored by Miceage:

This attraction will be housed around Cali screemin'. It’s entrance will be at the abandoned Taco restaurant under screemin' it will be a dark ride of sorts like those that used to be at carnivals.. Except Disney style of course.. Rumored to have something to do with Pixar characters...

(I think next they need to add a Boat ride with a long tunnel.. lol J/K)

I can confirm this one!

It is true!

The old restaurant was Maliburritos.

They are also bringing back the Counrty Bear Jamoree to DCA, not DLR, it will be were the
Golden Dreams show is.

And...The Tower of Terror will be changing to the Random Drop sequence, like the WDW version!!!

And..A Big E Ticket Ride will be built behind the Towwer of Teror, It will be a lot like test Track at Ecpot, but will have a Pixar Theme, from the Movie Cars.

DCA is trying to get away from the California, theme and become more Disney/Pixar.

Also, when the Incredibles ride is bing built, they will open a walkway from the Tower to the Bugs Land.

The Incredibles ride will be built in from of bugs land., where the tractor and water stuff is.
I dont know much about the ride, except it is a Major Trill ride.

I will post more if I find out.

I've heard the same thing about a new attraction in Paradise Pier...Midway Mania or something. I don't like the idea, I'm sick of Pixar too. I'd rather a Little Mermaid dark ride or something.

But, where'd you hear about them bringing back Country Bear Jamboree? If so, great, they're gonna pull another "Electrical Parade" on us. But I don't think that's true.

And I heard they might scrap adding random drops to the Tower of Terror in order to focus entirely on Pirates, since Rockit Mountain seems to be a no-go for this summer.

They were planning to open Pirates, Rockit Mountain, and random drops to the Tower of Terror to further promote the 50th anniversary, but with crowds higher than they ever expected anyways, there is no motivation to get Rockit Mountain working by summer time....So I think they'll hold off on the random drops for a later date.

Random drops might be tested at.. wait never mind.. lol

they will be a go come winter maybe... cause ocne the 50th ends.. they will find a new thing to get people to return.. and locals love TOT.. so much it seems to have 15 min waits on average (till summer again when it goes to 30.. lol)

I know many rumors on what DCA was going to build.. but the TT/ cars concept is not going to happen anymore i think... once the cheveron sponsorship ends..

at HKDL they are building an Autopia which runs on electricity and has interactive cars.. lol got a hint?? it might happen sooner or latter but DL will get something similar and so will WDW... and it might be themed to Cars like the original concept "was" before they pushed autipia to be in phase 2 rather than phase 3 at HKDL

What you posted are not official planned projects as they have not been officially announced. Everything you posted are well-liked rumors that have been brought up, but none of them have been officially announced and I doubt some of those ideas will occur.

This is very interesting information! In my opinion, right now there are 5 attractions worth visiting at DCA. It would be very cool if Disney were to add some new thrill rides to that park!

Also, I just wanted to know where you three main people (figment, AEIOU, and Master) are getting your information from. If it's possible, could one of you share your sources so I could learn more about this and other future plans? I saw that you said Miceage was the one that heard rumors about the new ride in Paradise Pier, figment, but just wanted to know if there was anywhere else you were obtaining this info from. Thanks in advance!

Some of these ideas sound good, but I would really like it if they sticked to the classic Disney, instead of the new Pixar stuff. You know what I mean? The classic Disney stuff reminds you of when you were a kid and makes you a kid again, even if you aren't one. The new Pixar stuff doesn't do that. Oh well, what am I gunna do...

The only rumor, which has supposedly got the green light, that has any plausibility to it is Midway Maddness, which will be in both DCA (the pier area) and MGM studios and will be Disney comeback to the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman at IOA! It will be a 3d type shooting ride featuring Pixar characters, most likely Toy Story! In MGM it will be where Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Play it! I'm sure if you did some searches on the net you will find out alot more info about the ride :D

My opinion: They can do anything else they want to do, as long as they bring the Country Bears back to California.

Caterpillar, do you know what's up with Rockit Mountain? And, aren't Cars cars being added to the Autopia or something?

Thanks for the other info! GO COUNTRY BEARS!!!

Rockit mountain will be being tested first at Student Grad night, I forget if that has come or gone yet, and as for cars theme added to autopia.......hmmm, probably not going to happen any time soon!

How much longer does the contract with Chevron last? I think once the Chevron cars are gone, the Pixar Cars are sure to replace them.

Hmmm, i will get back to you on that one. I think the contract goes on long enough for people to have forgotten all about cars lol!

Wow, many of these things are either completely unfounded rumors that are being reported as facts. Lets start at the beginning.
They are also bringing back the Counrty Bear Jamoree to DCA, not DLR, it will be were the
Golden Dreams show is.
The current Golden Dreams theater bears no similarities to the old Country Bears theater. The Golden Dreams show has a single stage, while the Country Bears stage enveloped the audience.

As you can see, their are five individual stages, plus the swing that comes down from the ceiling, and the talking heads upon the wall.
I hate to say this, but the Country Bears don't have a big enough draw to justify the complete re-build of the Golden Dreams Theater. On a side note, the show doesn't fit into the current themeing (California) in any way, shape or form. You see, in DL their is an entire land where the animals can talk, and sing, and dance.
And...The Tower of Terror will be changing to the Random Drop sequence, like the WDW version!!!

Someday their will be a random drop sequence for the TOT, but since the tower is not driving any locals to come to the park, I doub't that the random drops will appear anytime soon (since this would only be done to try and bolster the publicity of the TOT & DCA.)

And..A Big E Ticket Ride will be built behind the Towwer of Teror, It will be a lot like test Track at Ecpot, but will have a Pixar Theme, from the Movie Cars.

The Incredibles ride will be built in from of bugs land., where the tractor and water stuff is.
I dont know much about the ride, except it is a Major Trill ride.
They were somewhat split between a Test Track style ride with a Cars theme, or a Robo-Coaster with an Incredibles theme. They will build either one, or the other, but not both. Last I heard they were going to go with the Incredibles Robo-Coaster, the ride was well underway but is currently on hold, I was told it had somthing to do with DOSH. Whatever they end up building will be placed in the current Lion King Lot. Check out this image to see the area the new attraction will be built.http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=1313+S+Harbor+Blvd,+Anaheim,+CA+92802&ie=UTF8&t=k&om=1&ll=33.805869,-117.918481&spn=0.004288,0.010729
Also, when the Incredibles ride is bing built, they will open a walkway from the Tower to the Bugs Land.
Unfortunatly this will never happen. Even though the two areas are right next to each other, the parade floats have to pass through this area every day before the parade. And since this is the only path to the parade route, it has to remain open.

Oh, and as it is currently themed, Rocket Mountain is nothing special at all. Imagine if you will, a ride through Space Mtn. where you can see all the track, and around every corner you are blinded by DJ Lights. All set to an unimaginitive soundtrack, Rocket Mtn. is currently a bust. On the bright side though, it is rumored that many amazing effects were removed from the attraction, and will be making a comback for the offical opening of the Rocket Mtn. also, that huge flaming metor at the top of "Lift B"was still dark when I rode Rocket Mtn. This of course means that there is still hope in the form of new effects for the attraction.

arg! another pixarization of disney!!
And the problem is. . .? You see I don't have a problem with the Pixar characters and stories in the parks. Why you might ask? Well, among other things Disney has not created any memorable, or lasting characters for well over ten years. They have relied upon Pixar to save them from certain finacial doom. But hey, enough about that, you are all welcome to your own opinions.

Well other people dont. ( Alot of people )
And if they dont then they wont go to DCA.
And if they dont go Disney wont make any money.
So Disney has to change DCA to make more poeple come
