well im at an art contest at my school and i am entering either one of these two.which do you prefare ?

I'd say the top one.
It has more shading and looks more " impressive ".

I personally prefer the second one, but for an art contest, i would definitely submit the first one, the way you've used shadows and shading really shows off the contours in the face - its excellent!
