Not a scam..it is a quest by funnyshaun. I saw the quest and i saw the green flips!

does it have it as a prize???you can see the prizes......

The quest is not unfair infact I think it's just right. If somebody is giving away something as rare as green flips than I see no problem in him implementing whatever tasks he feels necessary. You go funny!

I mean, one instruction said to do Spooky magic when in reality it was the cursed storm that had to be done. The other task with finding a golden mickey -- it's not in the room it says to go to. He probably put it in a completely different room.

It's cool to make it hard since the prize is so rare but it's not good to flat-out LIE and MISLEAD the people doing them (unless it was a mistake).

I think he did this for laughs and giggles, just to see how long people would fall for it.

It's a 60 Question Quest Involving, Driving Magic, Diving Magic, Teleporting Magic, Space Suit Magic, Invisibility Magic, Fireworks Magic, Cursed Storm Magic, Buried Treasure Magic, and Pirate Costume Magic, To Pass This "Green Flip Quest" You Need To Know VMK Inside and Outside Side to Side and Top to Bottom. It's Sort of Like a Community Leader Quest. I Didn't Quite Do It Due To Lack of Space Suit Magic. Evil Jungle Cruise Task >_< It's a Really Funny Quest People Try It Out! You Might Win Green Flips.

I find this quest unfair... I mean, it's IMPOSSIBLE for some to use the cursed storm pin, due to the code changes a while back...

I haven't done the quest, since I don't think I was even on *LOL*. But, I do agree with this: the people who are already rich (Inferno people) will just get richer, and the others won't have a chance.

It's not unfair, bc if he wanted he could cancel the quest, and let it be. If he is giving away GREEN FLIPS, he can do what he likes, bc it is his quest. :)

I think It's Rather Fair, Because You Only Need The Normal Magics Not Inferno And The Quest Isn't That Hard But It Does Envolve Alot of Magic Effects, It's Also Fair Because *Green Flips* Is One of The *MOST* Rarest Items, Only a True VMK Fanatic That Has All The Magic Can Get Them, Like Me All Tho I Don't Have Space Suit Magic Curse You Jungle Cruise!

Uhh. Just because someone has inferno doesn't mean they are rich.. I've had inferno, and im not rich. I know a friend who has barely anything, and has inferno. So what makes people who have inferno " rich " ? Your making them seem like outcasts.

Actually he fixed the bug on an individual person to person basis. There are still many who have not been able to meet Yavn in person and ask for help.

I am one of those people. I am not able to do many of the quests (including this Green Flips quest) because of that early code change. I have a variation on that code bug where I can never have Buried in Treasure Magic Pin. The pins cannot be traded so without help from someone high up in VMK, there is nothing I can do. I still keep trying to contact Yavn, but I and many others are having no luck with finding a solution to the problem.

Inferno and Bat and Frosty can be traded for, so there is hope for some, but Buried in Treasure and Cursed Storm cannot be traded, so for these unfortunate few there is no way to participate.

Its his right to make his own quest his way and if he's giving out green flips (something extraordinarily rare and valuable) then of course his quest will be very difficult.

The only other way you can get green flips is by trading. And in most trade offers for green flips, players sacrifice the rarest of items and/or alot of beta items.

And demanding that FunnyShaun make his quest for green flips not to have the use of rare items in tasks is like telling all those trading green flips they have no right to get inferno or beta in return.

I had this same problem with another quest, but i had a really close friend who let me borrow their inferno for about 30 seconds so i could finish my quest :)

it is fair, QA_Dawgiedawg talked to me and said, " coolcurtisto got all quest magic, he can pass this " then he tricked me, he said he would make it easy for me, LOL!

I want to know if anyone got past the gold mickey. I don't want the answer but I spent a long time on it and never found it which is rare for me, I am usually pretty good with that type of task.

The quest is not fair everyone. Funnyshaun's clues don't hint to wear something is the right way. One of his magic pin request is completely wrong. Also, he does not want anyone to win, when he found out rocksuperman was about to win, he disabled the quest. It is fake.

Well said. The quest was made to attract people to the room, in hopes of BGR.

Fakes Dont Win BGR. Just my two cents. Justice will always show in the end. And, it did. Key won - even though someone copied him!

He was on the last question then he asked funny for help. Then when he asked it automatically closed... So I think this is a scam.. Not saying who though

This is not true. I made the hints ver difficult and if you think really hard most of them are trick questions. rocksuperman almost beat it but i had to go and i did not know he was on the last question. It is NOT scam, i am doing this for generosity and i am redoing the question because some of the are too difficult for other. beyond difficult. Check back tomorrow for a new green flips but rather difficult. Enjoy. This is no scam. I can't believe my friends on these boards whould belive it is a scam. It is totally fair quest.

Most of you know how i am very generous on giving free seagull hats, teleport pins and more to random people that are needy. CL_TheIdolMara posted a thread about how great my generosidy is and i thank him but my quest is the Next Step up from my generosidy. Thanks

well, I don't know if it is a scam or not, but I do know that you need to do certain kinds of magic very close together. I did go to the spell room and when it said to do a certain kind of magic--I did it in there. It did nothing. Maybe the answers to the questions were wrong or something. We'll see tomorrow.

I agree and think it should be closed, and if you want this to happen you need to go in the room, click the I button, for room info, and hit report.

Although it isn't a scam, I seen the flips in the machine, there isn't enough Inferno out there to give everyone a fair chance. Also there is a mickey to find that has absolutely nothing to do with the clue.

Most importantly: Green flips are very overrated. Whoever was on during beta could buy them for 60 credits, where as Inferno can only be obtained from staff events and occasions at Disney parks, or, if you're willing to trade all you own for it! I am sure there are players who bought a bunch of green flips and other things during beta times, and maybe the owner is one of them.

Regardless, you don't see staff quests requiring Inferno, and their quests are created for fun and to set an example to others creating them. Their toughest quest so far is the green car with that massive fireworks score, but I see that as something different, playing a mini-game as opposed to having overrated magic. Besides, there is most likely a good purpose for the green car that hasn't been released yet.

I say we tell staff about this.

I am not too sure why people would feel this green flip flops quest is a scam. The green flip flops are no longer available and have not been available for some time now, and I would imagine if someone was smart enough to buy quite a few of them, that they would make there quest very very very difficult. After all, Yavn's quest for inferno pins is pretty difficult also. In the past, I have spoken with the vmk member and I think this thread has started to become a little bit of an attack. Hopefully, This thread is not an attack and more conversation, but when I create quests they will definitely be difficult. I look forward to attempting this quest as I have not seen it yet...Good job whoever created this difficult quest for a difficult/rare item.

I see no problems with making quests difficult when the prize is rare. Green flips are a great prize and if this person were really to offer them as a serious prize, it would be truely awesome and generous.

For the record, the owner of htis quest traded for his current flips (around Christmas) and probably does not have multiple pairs. I cant say if he had flips in beta but I know the current pair was from a trade. Not an attack, just a fact.

Also, two times the quest was closed early. The first when the owner discovered Rocksuperman was on the final question (yesterday or the day before) and the 2nd time when he saw Rock enter the quest room today. Idk, just a little fishy. Both times an excuse was given that he was leaving vmk for real life issues. Fine, but why do you have to close the quest? (btw,I have had numerous conversations with Rock and he has agreed that I may post his name in this thread).

If this quest is for real, then open the quest and leave it open "as is" or pull the entire quest. Show us that it is not a scam :)
