Why do I see the messages from the club under "New Posts" and why do I see the club listed in the forums hierarchy?

I think The mods have not fixed it yet.

Any further thoughts about this?

Again - I have no objection to the group existing, the posts made, the people posting or whatever. I'm just not interested in seeing the messages show up when I look for "New Posts". Is there any way I can filter these messages out?

The "New Posts" link will show all posts that your account has priveledges to see. Since we don't restrict viewing of the Disney Channel forum, posts made there will show up as "New Posts".

If you want to customize what you see, you can Subscribe to a forum, or any number of forums. Then, your customized list of new posts will show up in New Subscribed Threads (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription). That is normally the first page that comes up if you click in the User CP (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/usercp.php?) button on the top banner, so it is quick & easy to get to.
