I'm proud to be half-Asian... and I love when the Asian culture is represented in the United States...
It's a shame that Asians don't get a lot of attention when it comes to Hollywood... But I think that's about to change in the upcoming years...
Wendy-Wu was actually a pretty good Disney Channel Original Movie... I think they made the plot a little more complex at times, and put much more at-stake... Although some of the fighting scenes were a little bit on the corny side...

I expected a bit more from Disney Channel on this one.
The thing about this movie is, it was advertised too much. The movie itself was quite decent. I'd give it a A- or B+ if I had to grade it or something.
I liked the movie, personally, but it was slightly overated.
What Disney Channel does is is advertises the movie again and again, with it's best 30 seconds. It makes you think: "Wow, I have GOT to watch this! It looks sooo cool!" but then when you finally watch it, you realize it wasn't all it was advertised to be.
Don't get me wrong, the movie was pretty good. I just expected the tiniest bit more from Disney Channel. I hope Wendy Wu doesn't go the same way as Read it and Weep. That movie looks promising to me..

Quote: "It's so full of butt-kicking, punch-throwing goodness, they actually had to rate it TV-PG!"
Isn't that cool?
