Ok i will discuss it! I have very interesting news They are and disney said this or maybe USA Today said that they were making a sequal so maybe they are running it so they will keep our minds refreashed about the movie!

Iv'e noticed that already it is weird also In my school i saw the actress Vannesa Ann Hudgens(Gabriella)!was so cool i got an autograph!

People ARE crazed about it...

Disney wants this movie to become an all out franchise... Which means Books, Movies, Music, Clothes... I've even heard that they are talking about turning it into a Television Series...

The album just went Double Platinum and every airing of "High School Musical" ALWAYS dominates the ratings in its timeslot...

How can Disney ignore this "phenomenon" that is High School Musical...

The movie that was shown only 2 times was "Tru Confessions(2002)".The starring lead was Clara Bryant and Shia Lebouf.Remember..the movie was about a sister making a documentry on her mentally challenged brother (Shia).Mods ,feel free to delete this because of content.Anyways,it was like a touching drama that you would see on Hallmark.Probley disney only showed it twice because of content and didn't think it was for kids and what kids would be interrested in.Here is the plot that was told on Imdb:

Trudy 'Tru' Walker thought she had the worst life ever and having a father who was always working, a mother who never took her side, and a mentally challenged brother didn't help. But when Tru gets a chance to follow her dream and star in a TV Show, she finds out what it really means to be a family.

I didn't even like it one bit. :l I'm tired of them showing it many many many times.

I don't watch Disney Chanel or whatever, I watch Family Channel and every now and then the put a song on from it. Its so annyoing.

Tiger Cruise is another that has only been shown twice I think.It was becuase the plot was just about 9/11.Disney probley thought it was unsuitble for kids,that kids would think it's boring,that its to overwelming,that it talks about a time that kids should not listen too, and thats TV-PG too.Once again mods you can delete this if it is unsuitible

Tiger Cruise was in all ways unrealistic too. Let me tell you, from first hand experience, that you can't do a quarter of what those kids did on a tiger cruise. They let you nowhere near the flight deck during flight operations...you can get yourself killed if you did what they did!

Anyways, as I've said before...High School Musical makes for the best inside joke within a group of friends. I despise the music and the hype around it...but I heart you Hip Hop Girl. heh.

And nobody really watches it that much. I mean, yea it was a good movie, but why must they keep showing it over and over again and again. I mean, for pete's sakes, I'd like to watch a different movie once in a while!

This is something many channels dont understand.. kids dont like to much of a good thing... neither do adults... (remember Millionare on ABC.. 6 nights a week? come on!)

I remember Millionaire that was fun for a while then got boring. Heh Disney will turn it to a franchise they have loyal fans hooked which means $$$$. HSM was ok it is annoying after a while but if disney can make money they will.

It's not so "Original" it's kind of like West Side Story in a way only in modern High School version don't you think?

OK!!! I need to brag! I will have a chance to see this HIT you all have talked about. Sadly, MOST of the DCOM do not play over here since most kids speak Norwegian. However, the bigger movies do make it here and since HSM became such a hit...it is coming here soon.

I will finally get a chance to see this film. I can not wait to see what most of you thought was great. (I am sure I will like the music.)

(Actually , they never advertised the name of the DCOM coming soon..but I saw the girl in that red dress they sold in vmk and I saw the gym. Hehe...)

I agree with the first part of your statement! Some people love the movie - cough ME!! cough - and you don't have to hurt their feelings if you don't like it then simply turn to another channel or just ignore it. It's very simple to just ignore it because by saying this ALOT of people LOVE this movie (Like me!!) and you will hurt their feelings like that by saying it's annoying and unrealistic. And they teach you a great lesson. You're supposed to let people hang out with who they want to be with and not stop them. That's the main message of the movie and some people just adore the movie! You just have to ignore it if you don't like it. :)

The Movie has recieved some Emmy nominations.
