If you presently have an avatar from buddycon, please remove them. We have found that buddycon site to be a Non-G-Rated avatar website and therefore any further advertising will not be allowed. Please, removed them now during this grace period. Once this grace period has expired, we will begin to remove them for you and will issue warnings/suspension to those still having them.

I have to agree buddycon is not good. I tried it once because others had it and not only did it not work but there were non G-rated items on the site.

Thats very true. Only today I had a BuddyCon avatar. I now have one no more. I agree they post bad images on that site. Thank you Batleh for this rule.

A buddycon avatar will have a balck screen after your animation saying it is from buddycon.

Yes, Deeplake, it looks exactly like that. It also has alot of annoying popups that could start a virus in your computer. On the site, not the avatar ;). I agree with Triple, we should all just use Animation Shop Pro, etc for that kind of thing. Otherwise, have a still avatar, or you could always use one of the lovely smileys for your avatar, like the cute little hopping bunny.

An excellent question. I belive that if the "ad" is removed then their is no longer a reference to the banned site, and so as long as the avatar itself is G-rated, their is no problem.

You can create an avatar there and remove the advertising and it'll be ok. Our biggest concern was the advertising in so many avatars.
