Since joining VMK about 3 days ago, i've had a couple of questions about it.

1) Can you at anytime change your room's name and/or descriptioin
2) When i type in something in the guest room "search bar" does it always not load anything or am i supose to wait a while?

Thanks in advanced for any further help :donald:

1.) Yes just click the I in the corner of the screen and then press edit room descripion.
2.) Just wait your computer may be slow or since everyone else is talking it has to wait for space to put your bubble!

(I believe she is referring to the room search bar, not the speech bar.)

I know this can be very confusing at first. Rooms will only show up in the search if there is someone in them at the time; the more people who are in them, the more "stars" will be displayed after the title. So your search results are going to be constantly changing, depending on who happens to be in the game at the time.

As you add people to your friends list, the "friends' rooms" tab will display their room names when they are in them, without you having to do a search.

But for purposes of tracking people on your friends list, the "friends" tab of the "messages/friends" box at the bottom of the screen shows where they are in any guest room, not just their own, as well as other areas of the park.

I have found a little trick that works for me most of the time. When I am searching for a room (by entering the room name or the room owner's name) most of the time nothing pops up. I then click my mouse in the empty box where the room names would show up if the search had come up with any results. Usually this will produce the room name. Works for me about 99% of the time (if the room has any people in it. If it doesn't you will not be able to search for it sucessfully, no matter where you click.)
