Falling Furniture is a personal room game that usually has prizes. It is also known as Musical Chairs, but games titled this are usually a little bit different, as described later in this guide.

Introduction

Many people have rooms with this game in it, yet I was the first to have one on VMK. This game was originally on Habbo Hotel. You can usually find one of these rooms open at all times.

How do I play?

Usually the rules are explained sometime before the game, but I will explain them here. In Falling Furniture, the rules are very similar to musical chairs. You have to race to get a chair, once the owner starts placing them. There should be one person left over, who then loses. Now here is the difference between musical chairs and Falling Furniture. When you lose, you can either Pay to stay, get Revenge or Leave. Many people choose not to include this, since some players may not understand and think the owner is scamming them. Pay to stay is when you pay a certain amount of items (usually one) and get to stay in game. Notice you do not have to pay at all, thus it is not a scam. Revnge is when you pay a larger amount of items (usually two) and then you get to choose someone, who is then forced to leave or is booted. Leave is exactly what the name implies, you leave. When there is only one person left, that person wins.

Questions?

If you have any questions, PM me and I will answer you, and then post the question here (if it is not in the guide) so other people don't ask the same questions.

Happy gaming! :)

Obviously, an unscrupulous game room owner could "rig" this type of game by dropping the furniture next to people they like, and away from anyone they were trying to make lose.

I haven't heard any complaints about this possibility (yet).

Just something to be aware of in this type of game, especially if the owner is charging an admission fee to join the game, or a fee to continue to play.

That is very true but a user like that could easily be reported and that would be counted as scamming. Also make sure you know when using this game in your room that the people in your room know they don't have to pay, because otherwise they may think you are scamming them. Also it would be nice if anyone who uses this game in their room could give me credit for making it? I no longer open my room because all of the other rooms with it :( But it's ok if you don't, but it would be nice if you did :)

How do you pay to stay in this game? I was in someone's room playing a game very similar and I was booted after I wouldn't pay to stay. Do you just make an offer to trade and the other person accepts your item without actually trading anything with you?
