I'm fairly new to VMK but managed to get black mickey ears (for a heavy price lol). I was offered a teleportation pin for it and said i would trade when the guy is putting the pin on and taking it off saying there's a glitch in the trades. he kept telling me to trust him saying he'd give me the pin for sure. after a long while i trusted him. he had a vip badge and a space suit so i though i could, but as soon as he got my ears, he booted me from the room and i ended up with nothing. i've contacted the staff but is there is nothign they can do. is there anything i can do to get my ears back or to say to get the staff to help in the short amount of space i have to type in call for help? please help. thanx

Being scammed is a very hard lesson to learn. A person's trustworthiness cannot be determined on an online game; no matter CL, no matter VIP, no matter the pretty things they might have, etc. I'm sorry that your ears were stolen, and hopefully the staff can do something to help. Just remember the person's title.

I wish the staff could at least ban him. But they can't do anything. I can't get my ears back and the staff said they could do nothing about it. Even if I can't get my ears back, I wish he wouldn't be able to do this to anyone else. But I don't know if he got banned or not because he's obviously not on my friends list anymore. I just hope everyone can watch out..

well u can trust HIM as long as he doesn't want to trade when he says something about trade's malfunctioning or if the trade seems WAY TOO GOOD to be true.

but i guess there CAN be way too good trades.. lol so forget about that~ just be careful and don't trust them unless u really know them. that's my advice. i lost my mickey ears for trusting someone i barely knew. don't make that mistake.

It's very tough to lose something, especially if you paid for it. Just let this be a lesson, there is NO glitches that we know in trading. If they say something like that, then ask them exactly how to do it and to deminstrate it. If they refuse, cancel immidiently. Any other suggestions, anyone?

Sorry to hear about losing your ears.. I lost my 1st set of ears by trading them without knowing how special they were. I was able to get another set and I think I can work out getting an extra one.

Let me know when you will be on this week and if you can meet me in VMK, I'll give you a set of ears if you can't get your others back. You don't need to trade anything for them.

Not naming names, and please do not say his full name, but does his name have "virtual" in it? Just curious. I have been PM'd by several people who were scammed or attempted to be scammed by someone with that in part of their name. If enough people go to VMK about it, maybe they can do something about him.
